Jacob is a good fighter, no need to over analyse. This match up essentially is:
Bad chin vs one of the biggest puncher in the division. I'm 99persen sure of the outcome.

No, its more like putting off a doctor's appointment to test for STD's for months because you're afraid of what the test results will show.

I never said Jacobs was terrified of Gennady. But I will confirm that Fishnets & his Red Headed Cherub are

If Danny is not afraid he is clueless. Glad the fight is signed now and
once the PPV blows CK and Balls, GGG will grab that $10 mill from Canelo....I hope

Really? A f*ckin thread to talk about what some silly posters claim? You can tell a lot about a poster by the crap threads they start.

Um it took weeks of posturing and Hbo ppv to get Jacobs to sign the contract.
    Hbo ppv really?

Lol Jacobs with a ko loss and a paper strap as a right to not take what he is offered and negotiate and if he does not get what he wants should walk and rip his paper strap up lol
But when the undisputed record breaking undeafeted middle weight champ won't take a flat offer he is blah blah blah lol

Half the people on this site must be riddled with the old ESB aids you know the worst kind

This fight worries me. I don't think the PPV will sell very well since they aren't selling well in general right now and with the money Golovkin's team had to give Jacob to make this fight happen that would mean that they would have less money for the BJS fight that Golovkin really wants for the last belt. I honestly don't see this PPV making money, but I would love to be wrong.

What don't understand with GGG why ain't he telling billyhoe like he told canelhoe

Give me my belt and watch billy run his mouth off about warm ups and money and then hand it him after wards

Its pretty obvious the elephant (or hamster) in the room is Jacobs chin. Kell was able to box reasonably well vs GGG and stop him in his tracks on a number of occasions. I can see Jacobs landing some telling blows however history tells us GGG can absorb it and Jacobs will eventually break down or get caught with something and he won't recover from it. I'm going with 65/35 split in favor of GGG here. I think folks are downplaying Jacobs win vs Kid Choc....it was an impressive W.

Still should be a good scrap while it lasts.

I honestly don't think BJS is going to fight anyone good in a hurry, ODLH just cut the offer to BJS in half (that's gone), K2 might not have the money, and he's probably going to find a way to avoid Khytrov too.

Even if the fight is signed I'm not convinced we won't get a long rigmarole of injuries, postponements, etc. a la T. Fury.

GGG was mandatory to Canelo's WBC belt. GGG has no route to getting the WBO unless Saunders agrees to unify.

Fear was never a factor in this fight for either side. It was always about money and now that that's taken care of the fight will take place.
