I really don't rate Wawzryk sorry, think he gets sparked out before the halfway mark. Not sure whether to criticize Wilder for again taking the easiest opponent around, or to give him a tune-up pass since he's coming back from an injury.
Who do you think Wilder should fight? If Parker doesn't have a fight I think Deontay should fight him.
Tune up? A friggn Tune up? If you got injured and now fit to fight....you are fighting fit. Therefore you don't need a friggn tune up. This is now just taking the ****. Wilder talks a big game and fights no name.
did you really think he was going to fight parker? the sure fire way to pick wilders next opponent is find the worst opponent he can possibly face in the rankings and pick him if i could bet on it id be a millionaire right now
This is not a tune up, this guy is just as good as all the other title defences. A tune up is in my Eyes an "easy" oponent to get back in the game, this guy is level with the average WBC world title challenger. What is the record for volountary defences btw?
If true it's an absolute disgrace. He'd be the first hw belt holder to make 5 consecutive defenses against opponents not ranked in the top ten by ring magazine (or concencus). And Wawrink is arguably the worst of all his defenses, not even a top 35 guy. This is a low point for hw boxing. I'd like to rout for Wilder, but he makes it impossible with this disgraceful ****.
no idea, the think the wbf heavyweight belt probably has better challenger than the wbc at this stage
If he going to try to get him out of there faster than Povetkin did? Is this going to be a proxy cold war sort of thing between Povetkin and Deontay for the next few years?
Absolutely no need for a pass. Why should he get a tune up? He's a belt holder and fought 5 months ago? That's a joke. Hell, Vitali came off of much more severe injury, politics, and 4 years of inactivity to beat the best non K of the time. Of course, Vitali was an ATG with amition, Wilder will probably never be an atg and if he does get there it will be despite his complete lack of ambition.
