Still 35,000 tickets to go on sale on january 16th so im hopeful I can get one then after I failed miserably on stubhubs shambolic website last time, after 3 hours of trying, 2 times I managed to get to the checkout then the web page crashed!

Is stubhub the only place you can buy tickets? I will try in January but am resigned to failure. The only way you'll get a decent ticket price from touts is if you wait till about 9pm and miss all the undercard. Fuk that. The system stinks and Wembley should release attendance figures rather than ticket sales. That way when Froch bangs on about knocking out George Groves in front of 80,000 people at Wembley you can say "actually Carl it was 68,547".

As far as im aware stubhub is the only place you will be able to buy face value tickets now, which is a shame because their website clearly can't handle the high volume in traffic.

I was trying on Stubhub from midday to 2pm, as was three others at my work place, no-one got a thing, I then called Stubhub around 2pm to see if I could buy over the phone, they said I couldn't and was told that their site was having issues and that they hadn't actually sold a ticket at that point - I think there is an element of truth in that as when I was looking at certain blocks it was saying there was 400 or so left in said block and that number never reduced- I gave it about 15 minutes and looked again and then you could see that it was working then as the number of tickets available had reduced. In short, the midday sale didn't actually start until shortly after 2pm.

I did end up getting tickets, but it was hard work, it is the first time I have ever used Stubhub and got to say I am not a fan of their site....although I guess they've no real interest in selling tickets at face value, their main game is being a resale marketplace.
