You stole my I wanted to commit suicide after watching it joke, I finally got around to watching the rest of it last night, it didn't get any better..... I had a bad feeling about it when they released the Leto Joker shot with the word "Damaged" carved in his forehead, I knew right then and there it was trying too hard to be cool, it had such a douchebag hipsters trying way to hard to be badass snarky vibe to it instead of actual badasses being allowed to let their badass flow naturally.

I'd just watched a shitty little straight to video movie the night before called Mischief Night (the 2014 version, not the 2013 version) which looks like it cost about a million bucks to make, and it was more enjoyable on every possible level than that inflated 150 million dollar bloated floating walrus corpse of a movie. As was The Mechanic: Resurrection with Jason Statham (an actual badass).

Will Smith tried his hardest, and was probably the best thing about the movie, and I don't even like Will Smith all that much, Leto was cringeworthy, I wanted to look away from the screen it was such an embarrassing performance, Margot Robbie was hot, but not very good, that probably had more to do with her dialogue than her actual performance. Viola Davis was despicable on every level and not in a good way, she was just terrible and ugly as hell to boot, the FBI guy played by Joel Kinneman came across as redneck on the verge of tweaking meth dealer than an FBI agent, it was just a sad film altogether. What a colossal waste of people's money and time.

Margot Robbie has squandered any good will she may have built up after Wolf Of Wall Street, with this piece of dreck combined with The Legend Of Tarzan she should be a lock for the worst actresses Razzie.

 

I'm on the outs with Affleck lately, all his PC BS has been annoying so much its affected his films for me, (although I saw and really liked Batman v Superman) I'll probably check it out in a month or two, you should see Blood Father with Mel Gibson it was awesome, it felt like an early 80's film, a real return to form for Mel he looks like a beast with his beard, the look really works for him. Its a very emotionally involving film like 80's action movies, something most of the soulless blockbusters of today sorely lack.
