I think Beterbiev has more power and strength, and he's also is a far more aggressive as Kova. Both are good in punching from strange angles and still generate tremendous power too. Kovalev has the edge in boxing skill and can box beautifully from the outside. If he stays diciplined he can outbox Beterbiev that way, because I don't believe Artur is capable to just walk trough his shots like he does with opponents carrying less power.
Kovalev might be better boxer in long range, but he's definitely not better boxer than Beterbiev - they just have different styles and skill set.
I think Kovalev's main punch is harder, but every other punch of Beterbiev's is harder. There's a lot of power in that considering he only uses rotation as his main momentum and not using his feet, shoulders etc. This content is protected
Kovalev got roughed up by Ward on the inside game and this is where Beterbiev is so strong, he needs very little leverage to generate so much power; the torque on his punches is like a Nissan GTR - instant spool up on the power whereas Kovalev needs a little distance and his power is like a Ferrari V8; slightly higher in the rev range and a bit more effort. I hope that metaphor makes sense. I think if either Kovalev or Ward fight AB the fight is either won or lost on the inside for either man.
After Kovalev takes out Ward (if Ward ever gets the stones to take the rematch) it will be the match to make.
I think both hit hard ,but i dont see the Kovalev power everyone talks about . Beterbiev clearly hits harder ,the impact of his punches even watching them on the bag should be evident.
