No chance. The greedy fukks @ GYM, the promotion entity looking after both guys, want it all. They want Stevenson to stay the course and they're deploying their new-ish weapon of mass destruction to get the other 3 belts... AB will be in an IBF eliminator in 2017.

 

GYM is frustrating...after a 1 round fight he should be back in the ring ASAP.

 

Well at least they mentioned Jan, Feb & Mar as the timeframe for that eliminator fight. My guess is AB fights 3 times in 2017, last one of the year being a title shot if stars align i.e. Ward & Kovalev sort their **** out.

Not sure you should have that jitters. Prieto stiffened Beterbiev's legs up with that counter right hand he landed a few seconds before the first knockdown. I'd like to think that Kovalev's right hand won't have a problem finding Beterbiev's face. Most of these Eastern Euro guys move well on their feet, but still don't have much in terms of defensive skill, head movement, slickness, etc.

 

Still not massively impressed by beterbiev, other than his rocket launcher power, he has no jab. kovalev has a great jab

That Ivashyaka(sp) dope was saying Beterbiev was some slow plodder who could only fight coming forward and was going to be the next E.E. to lose.

The Akhbar dumb is now trying to advance this narrative that Beterbiev got hurt before the first KD. That imbecile had Chilemba up 5-1 or possible even 6-0 over Kovalev and thought Ward beat Kovalev "easy" so that just goes to show the pervasive, toxic root that his biased opinions spring from.

 

I think it will be an amazing fight. It will be brutal but a great fight... way better than ward fight lol
