Funny you mentioned that...I met /ran into Briggs a day before that Ibragomov fight in n.y outside my apt..I told him what to do a...well he didnt listen lol
I think Shannon just expected to get Ibragimov out of there in the first three rounds. He didn't know Iggy had a granite chin. Lol Plus he was boxing better by the Briggs fight.
IDk man, I was bombed (drinking )and running to a steak house on 48th and broadway in N.Y , I trolled him for 2 minutes..ran into lou duva and Briggs manager at the time owned my building and also I was friends with Jameel mcCline who he managed too ( nicest guy).... Briggs was a dik ( then ) but I put $$ on him and lost a good penny...uhhhhggggg
Man Jameel looked TERRIFIED when he fought Wlad. Lol! But he fought a very good fight against Briggs!
Well lets just say when I saw him he didn't look confident days before that fight. I knew and so did he (He was Fu'kd) you know what there was no advise to give but good luck...and that's the truth. he didn't have that killer in him though he did time.
