Round ten is the best back and forth of the fight to this point, but Sergey CLEARLY got the better of it. He won almost all the exchanges and stuck a mean jab in Ward's face while he was attempting to showboat. Ward landed some good shots in this round as well, but this was as clear a round for Kovalev as round nine was for Ward imo.

Round 10.) 10-9 Kovalev (clear Kovalev round.)

Ward comes out and lands stinging jabs to the body and head, lands a couple of big right hands and easily wins the first 2 minutes of the 11th. Sergey surges back with a couple decent shots a a decent flurry around the start of the 3rd minute. Ward plants and lands huge left hooks to the body and head of Kovalev, Sergey takes them like the champ he is, but Ward has drawn first blood by blooding Kovalev's nose. Sergey stuns Ward with a real good shot, that has Ward moving away from danger, but Kovalev is so dead tired by this point he can't capitalize. Ward moves back to the center of the ring to reset, and lands a jab to get inside but ends up plowing over Kovalev knocking him down to the ground. Serg stands after the no knockdown, the ref gives the fight call, 15 seconds left in the round Ward pops Kovalev with a big jab that snaps Sergey's head back. Sergey again on the hunt throws some shots but lands nothing.

Round 11.) 10-9 Ward (except for being stunned, big Ward round.)

So far you've seen it how I have. I think people discredited Ward's work because he doesn't have as much power as Kovalev. He was actually winning rounds 1 and 2 before getting stunned and then knocked down.

Ward just needs to STFU and get the rematch set. 80% of the population thinks Kovalev won and the only one "Acting like he lost" is that idiot Andre.

Unless there is a timeline on the rematch clause (if there is one), then Ward will issue the rematch on his own clock. Ward technically got the W and that is all that really matters.

There is a rematch clause. Likely it is written like "In the event that Kovalev loses his title to Ward, Ward must fight Kovalev in his next bout if Kovalev requests it" or something similar. Ward likely has to take a fight sometime in the next year because of his promoter. They usually have you under contract to stay active.

First 15 seconds of the 12th Ward lands a big left hook to the head, followed by each fighter landing jabs in stereo. Kov lands a uppercut, Ward lands a jab, 2 hard left hooks and a right, Sergey comes back with a good hook of his own after a few good jabs from Ward to the head and body connect. Ward lands shots to the head and body in the clinch, and that's the first minute. Nothing meaningful lands for the first 35 seconds of the 2nd minute of round 12, until Ward lands a long lunging right hand, and back into the clinch they go with 1:24 left on the clock.

(at just over the halfway mark of the 12th it's Ward's round imo, seizing the initiative, completely controlling where the fight takes place at this point, & Kovalev has not even tried to cut off the ring for I don't know how long now, just following Ward and fighting Ward on his terms, with Ward landing more and landing the harder punches at this point.)

Kovalev finally gets in some good body shots in the clinch, and they're apart again at the 1:13 mark. They clinch again at 1:04 and Ward lands a big left hook to the body, and a low blow that wasn't picked up by Byrd. With 53 seconds left Kovalev dips and lands a good body shot, followed immediately by a big left hook by Ward to Serg's head. 44 seconds left Serg lands a low blow that Byrd sees and cautions Kovalev about. They're back at it :37 seconds left, Serg lands a good jab misses a right and Ward clinches and lands 3 body shots and a big hook as the separate on their own. 26 seconds left, Serg throws a combination with 12 seconds left but all of it misses. Serg throws a 1-2 landing the jab Ward ducks the right, and comes back with a hard right hand to Serg's body. 4 seconds left, Kov might have landed a little jab, missed the rest of the combo, Ward comes back and lands hard to the body with both hands boom boom, and the bell rings a second later.

    Round 12.) 10-9 Ward.

Totals after 12 rounds, 114-113 Andre Ward.

This is down from my previous to times scoring where I saw it 115-113 scoring the first round even both times. Like I've said over and over a close but clear decision win for Ward.

(*edit*) That's suppose to be 115-113 the first 2 times scoring the first round even.
