Making Horrible threads, Cuban nationalism ( despite not being Cuban himself ) Race baiting, making various alts, fighting. The guy was losing it.
Ya he didn't seem like the mentally stable type. And he wasnt even Cuban?lol not exactly a style of boxing I'd get behind even if I was cuban
I'll give him that much. I can't picture Canelo fighting a highly ranked guy five inches taller than him. Rigo's already done that before. What the hell is this dude doing at bantamweight? Do you know anybody in real life who's 5'9" and only weighs 126 lbs?
What are you, women? Guys don't judge other guys by their looks. Next, you'll be critiquing his fashion sense. If I peak into the RBR and it's just you two catty schoolgirls dissing his choice of shorts and shoes, I'm out of there.
"I don't care about someone's skill if they aren't eye-pleasing." - Boxing Fans Mother ****er, skills ARE exciting.
It's a much better fight as the main event, but I would never pay PPV money for that (l'm anti PPV anyway). Cotto probably asks for such a huge purse fighting anyone that the only way not to lose too much money is putting it on PPV and hope for a miracle.
It is an awesome HBO card but a joke for PPV. It is hard to understand what the execs are thinking when Canelo vs the same fighter is not PPV but this is.
Except for the heavy weights or other guys who fight outside their 'natural' weight division it's very rare people have such disparity in heights. Some fighters want the physical advantages so much they will do whatever it takes to boil down into a weight group. I remember I saw a fighter on boxrec listed as 6'5 fighting in super welter I couldnt believe my eyes.
Are you thinking perhaps of 6'4" Guillermo Jones who knocked out Denis Lebedev at Cruiserweight, spars Sergey Kovalev, and spent half his career at welterweight?
They are tired of overpaying for diva fighters who don't deliver ratings. They are basically telling them, "Okay, you're a star? Then you ought to make your money on pay per view without us footing the bill."
