It's a real shame we never got to see him put Golovkin to the test. As a fan of his unorthodox style I would have been pulling for him to.

All solid choices. Pretty much anyone coming out of Ingle's gym fought in a weird style. Naz being the most notable example.

 

Used to love watching him live in the 90's his power was awesome too I just wish he had come back stronger after the barerra defeat

He had nowhere to go. MAB, Morales, JMM and Pac. There are four different ATGs all coming through at once that he wouldn't have been able to deal with IMO. No shame in that though.

 

Pac would have slaughtered him imo I just hate to see potential go to waste

 

This is why I give Fury such a hard time. I was genuinely excited to see him become heavyweight champ. Wilder, Joshua, Parker - the future of the division looked so bright with Wlad finally removed from the landscape and then he pissed all of that optimism away.

Perhaps he'all come back and make those fights but he should of been doing it as champ not a recovering drug user suspected of PED use.

Unorthodox styles are born out of necessity , that's why I think britian produces a large amount of unorthodox fighters

I mean you needs something different to stand out in the lsle of iron jaws and world champions

 

Good call on Eubank he seemed to be so very different at the time,the way he stalked and moved was just alien but so effective
