Well I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I've only just seen Pirog on you tube this week, commentators loved him for his American style, what a shame he was lost forever?

Isn't that just the same as having zero boxing skills lol?
Actually for someone with such a bad technique you gotta admire his tenacity,if he ever steps up and wins the other belts he'll go down as the goofiest champ ever

As for fury.hats off to him.he truly achieved what seemed unachievable.he gets zero credit as klitschko was in obvious decline, even tho before he was given zero chance as no one came close to beating wlad.
In reality he exposed wlad for what he was.there have been defensive fighters that have ruled, there have been fighters with wild ko percentages.there has never been a hw champ in history that cant get near ppv,his biggest weapon is a clinch and has got away with what wlad has.
Look at his fights, farcical in every sense.why do people say he was scared to pull the trigger vs fury when in his prime he wouldnt throw nothing but a jab vs ibragimov.
Same ppl will call a fighter for losing whilst pushing boundaries like pac,yet praise floyd for taking safe options and stay undefeated, the fact floyd is naturally bigger, wouldnt fight when it mattered and was caught red handed juicing.
The exact reason the fights ppl want to see dont happen, because spin enough **** and people will believe it,condone it and even vouch for it

No need to be embarrassed about that.

But Yes, its unfornate we lost a talent like him.

He had the whole package, and had potential to become a star attraction for boxing.

Flyweight Vic Darchinyan had a strange but effective style.

Ken Norton would drag his back leg kind of weird when he fought. Also, as an older fighter George Foreman would hold his arms folded horizontally instead of blocking vertically. That always looked a little weird but some old timers from the forties would do it too, so it's not without precedent. Some people say Vic Darchinyan and Junior Witter had weird styles but I haven't watched them to know what they do for sure.

Without a doubt the #1 is Emmanuel Augustus. He was immensely talented but never took himself seriously. His motto was fight anyone, anywhere ,anytime just give me time to get there. He was badly exploited by ruthless promoters. Had he had a good manager & a reliable trainer from the start he could have been a champion. His record is riddled with many bad decisions plus many many blatant robberies.
Fights where he literally had 24 hours notice. He fought for the $$$ & was robbed blind in the process
For me he is the epitomy of a fighter & should be inducted into the HOF
