Lol theres some corkers on here. You'd expect a boxing trainer to know his stuff/ get more predictions right..

 

No wonder hardly any pro's or trainers are on here, they just get swamped with idiots/trolls.

Billy loves a good old troll himself, and doesn't come across as a friendly person on here, so he has to expect things back..

 

What's the whole Solaris/Billy thing? I took a couple years break from the forum and missed all that

 

Solaris was always dissing Burns' ability and minimizing his achievements/ resume, and then a feud went on here between him and Billy for years. Billy himself seemed to enjoy it for a while. Solaris was always dissing Billys weight and boxers/achievements/ and dissing Scottish people in general. Billy offered Solaris to go to him his gym to spar him.. but Solaris is just a bipolar troll so he was never gonna meet up with anyone.

Solaris then seemed to turn up his trolling up a few notches.. he made alts called 'Blobby Nelson', and 'Lewis Ritson' (a fighter Nelson trained).. the insults got more and more personal and Billy was getting more noticeably angry. Nelson couldn't handle it and disappeared from this forum like he got bullied out of here.....just posting the very odd time instead of regularly like he did before..

Then the mods seemingly properly clamped down on Solaris and all his alts and properly banned him. He has moved over to another forum as 'Khan's Chin' and admitted on there in the lounge he has Bipolar lol. Billy Nelson then suddenly appears back here regularly now Solaris has gone......!

 

Billy Nelson will always be positively known on here for 2 main reasons:

1. Being the trainer of Ricky Burns and helping the guy become World Champion against the odds.
2. Immediately arranging a Boxing Charity Event to raise funds for the family of Mike Towell on hearing the news of his death.

I may be wrong but when you cut through all the abuse, all I see is a winner and a decent man.

 

Please keep posting on here, Billy. Always interesting to read your perspective/predictions, along with plenty of others.
