If matched correctly I don't see why not.

In fact, two of this career best performances (Collazo and Alexander) were only 2 or so years ago and within in last 4 fights.

However, there are only so many times you can get bingo'd and the three times he has it's not been good. The last one against Canelo he got splattered, that was a bad KO.

The Khan that showed up against Alexander gives any 147 problems, but as the saying goes timing beats speed and I see Kell taking him out.

Khan and Brook are at totally different stages of their careers.

Brook now has the pick of fights at 147 and 154 and is regarded as one of the top guys in the division.

Khan has been knocked out yet again after moving to another weight class (yet again) and now has no where to go.

Hence why Khan is now talking of fighting brook. It's the only money fight left for him.

Remember this guy has used excuse after excuse not to fight brook. He was hoping he lost to Porter so he wouldn't have to fight him. He was hoping he would of got humiliated v GGG and the fight not to be a commercial success.

The next excuse will be the split. Khan will ask for 60 or 65% as he still has the ridiculous idea that his the main draw.

    Agreed.

The only reason is he even considering fighting Brook is that he will receive several times more payment than he would picking up 25% of the purse for the winner of Thurman/Garcia, whom would also KO him.

    No. Just No.

Kell will never have the pick of the fights at either weight.

    1) He'll avoid Spence.
    2) After not having to cut weight, he'll now go to 154.
    3) He holds no power at 147, let alone 154-160.
    4) He hasn't even been linked with a single name at 154.
    5) He's still chasing Amir.

There's this notion that Kell can fight anyone at those weights because Golovkin broke his face.

There is this notion the more Khan gets banjoed the more he entitled to
    GGG>cameltoe, garcia,Prescott,Lomond,Peterson all combined
Porter better than callazo Alexander combined

What pissed me off the most with Brook and Hearn is them going on and on before the fight how 160 was Brooks natural weight. How comfortable and wonderful he would be at the weight. Then saying oh actually 154 is his absolute natural weight. Then going back to 147! Im sorry but if you are a casual fan listening to that it is basically conning and lying to them to sell a PPV.

Khan did exactly the same as well

Brook is a good fighter but he has just nearly had his career ended by a guy he should never have been in with in the first place. And by the way that is Hearns fault because that fight should never been offered to him. Who knows how that injury will effect him in the future? Hearn could have potentially ****ed up his future because he wanted to make a few quid.

He probably will have his pick of fights now because people will be more confident of beating him with that injury

A fighter could suffer suffer broken orbital bone in any fight. Regardless who a boxer faces there is risk of serious injury.

Not forgetting Kell Brook didn't have a gun to his head. Brook took the fight because he wanted the fight.

Also why are you talking as if the injury has permanent ruined Kell Brook. Does medical science not exist where it is actually possible for an athlete to recover from serious injuries. Ffs this is a guy who was stabbed in the leg suffering major injury and recovered.

Brook didn't quite carry the natural power at middleweight to trouble GGG but he properly exposed his flaws and got plenty of genuine middleweights and Super middleweights salivating at the opportunity to face Golovkin.

I enjoy watching GGG but I'm not sold on him being the best P4P in the world.

It wasn't a lamb to the slaughter and I believe GGG came out of it badly for reasons stated in the first paragraph.

Brook exposed nothing GGG had no respect for his power so decided to walk through him watch v Lemieux when he doesn't want to be hit he isnt, probably did make a few a bit more willing to fight him though and Brook got life changing money every ones a winner.

Lemieux doesn't have the shot selection and he couldn't give GGG angles either.

A guy like GGG doesn't move his head so this idea he can't be hit is ridiculous. It's why I think if he did go to 154lbs and fought Floyd he would lose comfortably. Mayweather would land shots on him all night long.

Anyone can be hit but Brook didn't expose anything, GGG isn't easy to hit doesn't defend with head movement uses his feet and measures the distance. He had no respect for Brooks power so was happy to get hit, 99% of coaches will have experienced frustration of their man being happy to take shots when know they don't hurt.

I'm a huge Floyd fan as well but asking a man to make a weight he hasnt done as a senior amateur from 18 is unrealistic, If GGG got to 154 highly unlikely in itself he would be no fit state to box

He mustn't have respect for anyone's power then mate, cos he takes a lot of shots.

Time is running out for him in his career now at nearly 36. Yes, he's got lots of belts but what's his legacy which will be left behind by his CV?

So many fighters have stepped up in weight when there's nothing left to prove and the shown the desire is there to conquer another weight division and show people you're the best.

GGG has never done that. A few of his best wins are against Murray, Macklin and Lemieux.

    They're tough lads, but that's not a P4P legacy.

Like I say wait till In with someone he respects, he is never going to be Mayweather slick but doesn't ship as much as some would have you believe.

Still plenty to prove at middleweight yet Jacobs will be a good win and hopefully Canelo will face him. You can't knock him for wanting to unify.

I'm not a fan of stepping up as think you should fight at your right weight, he was 165 a month out from Brook. But say he did who will fight him? I'd like to see Degale in with him good fight.

Ability wise he is P4P I'm a fan but not blinded by that I totally agree with you be nice to get a few names on the record, but can only fight who will get in

Like you say, would love to see him in with Alvarez.

However, I believe he'd struggle against the big super middleweights such as DeGale, Ramirez, even Smith and Groves. He wouldn't be pushing them back. I'd even fancy Froch to come out of retirement to stop him.

I see your point about sticking to your right weight, but if you want to be regarded as a 'great' such as Hearns, Leonard, Mayweather, RJJ, Pacquiao etc then you have to test yourself.
