This thread is a bit daft to be honest. Name for name, Froch has nobody as good as Hopkins and RJJ on it, except for Ward, whom he lost to. A better thread would be "would Froch give Calzaghe a hard fight?", in which case the answer would be "yes". But Calzaghe's resume > Froch's.

Many werent considered a threat to Calzaghe because he was so dominant alot of the time, but to say Calzaghe never fought anyone who was a threat when many picked Lacy, Kessler, Eubank and Jones to beat him.
Hopkins was a P4P fighter when Calzaghe beat him and ended up being a P4P fighter again some time after as well as becoming the LHW champ for beating Pascal who many consider as a good win for Froch

 

joe never fought kessler in denmark, so we dont know if he was capable of beating uninjured mikk there.
zaghe never fought ward - again we dont know if he can beat him.

I base my confidence on Calzaghe being 46-0. It's up to you to provide a proof that he is beatable, which you obviously can't.

 

Weighing each fighter they fought primes, difficulty, name value at the time they fought them froch truely shats on calz

But individual wins prime undefeated kessler is the best win by far

Froch being the underdog in most of those fights & was suppose to get destroyed or beat easy in a few of those fights makes me edge it to froch overall

 

Pascal, Jones and Cloud say that Hopkins was still world class at 40 something.
