Quite clearly Wilder and it's not even up for discussion.

Imagine one of the bombs Whyte landed that AJ stood up to, landing on Wilder's Amercian egg shell :yikes:yikes:yikes:yikes

He wouldn't wake up until a real life version of The Walking Dead is in progress

Martin's never been down as a pro or an amateur (to my knowledge), can't say the same thing for either AJ or Deontay.

neither joshua or wilder have great chins.

more important when the time comes is how good there recovery powers are
how long does it take them to shake the effects and get there legs back under them when they are stunned and can they hug/run /fiddle there way through a round when they are hurt.

only 2 tall heavys in my lifetime and i was born in the 60`s that were 6.6 and over who had a solid chins were vitali and nicolai valuev.
the rest were average at best

i think joshua and wilder fall into the average catergory.

Don't know what this has got to do with Martin but since you bring him up...he has never fought anyone remotely close to as dangerous as AJ, or Whyte for that matter, or Gary Cornish for that matter.

But if we are taliing about stuff that happened years ago and their bearing on today (i.e whether you got knocked down as in your 3rd fight as an armature) AJ MBE has never drawn with a bum like this chap: http://boxrec.com/boxer/393588

Really? Then how did he take Medzhidov's head shots without headgear a hell of a lot better than AJ did with headgear?

That wasn't a bomb, it was a standard left hook counter that turned AJ into a zombie for a few seconds. Too bad Whyte didn't have the stamina to finish him.

Joshua's chin seems fine. Wilder's seems a bit weak.

Nope not in the least, I did this thread before the Whyte match, just being fair and balanced, after all both have been rocked by average punchers, and KO'd in the amateurs by decent punchers, not much to separate the two in the chin department is there?

I will say this. HW's chins tend to get better as they get older. Honorable mentions are Wlad and Lewis. It's still too early in determining Joshua's chin but Wilder seems to have the lesser chin ATM.
