It wasn't just one round, and he also forced ggg to throw wild lunging punches in round 3 that missed which shows he can get emotional in the ring, something we haven't seen before with his robotic personality in the ring. Funny how that is being ignored. Abel Sanchez is under pressure to have ggg fight good opponents and they have used up all of the benefit of the doubt, which is why they had to sign with Jacobs. It's more that they are conscious of that than anything else.

Don't let the casual fan be bigger than the real fan in you. You're comparing a real stoppage to a totally BS hometown stoppage.

Also, you're trying to compare those stoppages and trying to correlate them, trying to use that idiotic state with their level of power.. Jacob's has light years more power than bjs, also way more talent.

Jacob's would annihilate bjs, easily. Jacob's was caught by mora with a great shot he didn't see.. if you go back to the pirog fight, pirog landed many shots, clean shots on Jacob's. Hurt him bad in rounds 2 and that round 5 shot was perfect, perfect.

I believe Jacob's would had easily beat a real 10 count and should has been allowed to prove that. Not saying for 1 second Jacob's would had found a way to win, but his chin gets truly blown out of proportion.

Not iron chin but nothing close to glass, like the clowns in here try claiming. Ggg might make it seem glass, but ggg makes all glass.

True, canelo is the real threat, I hope all goes well with their next fights, I guess so ggg and canelo can take YEARS off each other's prime

 

Truth is for some GG will never satisfy them. People rated the Lemieux, Geale & Murray fights yet afterwards they were bums... Now they are hedging there bets with Jacobs who has like one loss to an exceptional if unfulfilled talent & he's a scrub already! I think Jacobs is a modern day Joppy personally.. I think Jacobs, Lemieux, Murray, Macklin, Brook, Ishida, Ouma, Stevens, Rubio, Geale & Rosado is actually a fairly deep resume in it's entirety. Yes very good in fact..

 

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a KD with Golovkin's ram rod jab.
