McVey is on point. Name an ATG boxer Foreman beat? Answer is no one. The two best boxers he faced beat him going away. Prime Johnson, who was certainly Young's superior by a mile, was a beast and should be favored over any Foreman. George would find it very difficult to land a blow on the best Jack Johnson.

Foremans win over Norton and Frazier are far superior to Johnsons wins over a bunch of middleweights.

 

Do you think Johnson's opponents were all small guys? Clever boxers did well against George,Ali,Young ,Peralta for example

 

I'm well aware of Johnsons pedigree against larger fighters, thank you. But Johnson won the title from a super-middleweight Burns, and his career defining wins are over smaller fighters like McVea, Jeanette, Ketchel etc.

Peralta performed well against a green Foreman, and I think Zaire George would kill Young.

I think Foreman would nullify Johnsons outside game with his footwork and I don't think Johnson had what it takes to handle Foreman inside.

 

You're well aware of the bigger opponents Johnson faced, yet you're listing McVea and Jeanette as small fighters? Odd

Not so aware as you think you are ,McVey weighed 207lbs to Johnson's 190 when Jack ko'd him in 20rds in their last fight. The average weight of Johnson's challengers was the highest up until Joe Louis's reign.

Pug needs to learn boxing.......name an ATG BOXER Foreman beat. Boxer as in technical boxer, not a puncher, not a swarmer...a great BOXER. He faced TWO decent BOXERS....Ali knocked him OUT for a ten count. Young beat him by wide decision win. If he can't beat old Ali or a tricky but certainly not great boxer like Young he is NOT beating PRIME Jack Johnson. PRIME Johnson was a far greater hwt than Young ever was and at the time George faced Ali prime Johnson was his superior. Johnson by KO at some point between 10-15 rounds in a fight he is losing big time.

 

Sorry..... in a fight Foreman is losing big time.
