Make it up the Ring p4p list in 2017 IYO?

Salido II looks set & then who knows after that..

Who would you like him to face realistically? Not ideally...

That Sosa lad that beat smith,

Smack down some other AmeriCAN and you could see him in at least the top 5

He's #1 right now and has been for some time. If there is any one boxing better than Loma I'd like to know who it is. The only guy I can see challenging his position is the very impressive Inoue.

I would like to see him against Frampton if he can still make 126. Mikey Garcia but I don't think that will get made. Really though I think he will cement the #1 spot if he can beat Crawford. I currently have Crawford as #1 and I don't think anyone can challenge beat him at 140-147.

This. As far as any knowledgable boxing fan is concerned (ideally with actual boxing experience), Lomachenko is the #1 p4p talent in boxing. What he did to Walters was a masterpiece of boxing and is unparalleled, achievement wise, for any other boxer. Ward, whom many have as top 3 p4p, lost to Kovalev, who is top 2 p4p, but neither put in a decisive performance. GGG demolished a welter white eating every shot Brook threw in the process , Chocolatito went life and death in his last fight, etc etc. All these guys that are supposed to be above Loma are not only lightyears behind him in skill, but also in the combination of opposition level and the manner in which the said opposition was defeated.

I think it's unfair putting Chocolatito in there. He went life and death in his last fight because he was fighting a really good fighter in a higher weight class. P4p guys shouldn't be outclassing everyone all the time. When you go after the best, you sometimes get in a fight. I still have him as number 1.

In fairness now, frampton ducked rigo saying he was too good, Why makes you think he will fight loma?

The man knows he's level, he is a great world level boxer but he isn't a monster like them guys.

    Winner of Mikey Garcia-Zlaticanin
    Winner of Corrales-Uchiyama 2
    Robert Easter

There are tons of good fights for Loma around his weight class.

I get the feeling that he's bound for the #1 slot.

No doubt about it. He beats Salido handily and then knocks out Garcia or even better Rigondeaux... that's a definite #1 spot I'd say.

The only problem he might have is if Naoya Inoue breaks back into the top ten and then Gonzalez dusts Inoue.

Yeah that would definitely add some more competition. Should be a very interesting upcoming year.

I like Hi Tek, but he left a talent filled featherweight division to go to a division somewhat devoid of talent.
