but that is the biggest and most important thing for any top sportsman. easily more important than any physical aspect there are a **** load of world champs who dont have the tools, physique, speed, and skill, but will win just on sheer will power.
Bullsh*t. Willpower only takes you so far in any sport. If Margarito wasn't naturally BLESSED with a granite chin and great stamina, he would be a nobody.
He's dirty, a ****ing headcase, bites people, hits them in the nuts even when he's winning, a quitter, you name it. Had all the talent in the world, but blew it because he didn't have a brain.
Any more crazy stories about Golota? This guy is ****ing hilarious. If he was as strong as Holyfield mentally he could have been the best ever.
Touching then you realize Golota was a bum who got lucky in fighting a washed up Bowe and now people who don't know boxing act like Golota was something special. He was a limited guy with no heart. The moment you hit him back and hurt him he would find a way to get out of the fight.
He once had a promising career and by the waning stages of it he was clearly the dirtiest fighter in the sport. I still remember that riot that erupted in his match with Bowe; that was such a black eye on this sport back in the 90's.
I love golota his low blow combos are great to watch if only he could blind sight the referee better unfortunately he wasn't very smart or mentally stable
Thing is 'talent' can only explain about 10% of the success of world class athletes and performers. The other 90% are mental strength, discipline, work-ethic and an iron will -- all of which Golota was lacking in.
