He got dropped violently by Sergio Mora for God sakes, I wouldn't be getting my hopes up for an upset if I were you. I'm not being some sage here saying GGG KO's him quickly and brutally, I think anyone would have to be delusional to believe it plays out in any other fashion.
**** triangle theories... you want to go by that bull****, then go for it. That's not how I judge fights, because guess what? All fights are different. I don't need to keep repeating myself, my theory has been proven right time and time again...
He got KO'd cold by Pirog, dropped by Porter, dropped and stopped by Korobov, hurt by Truax and dropped by Mora, there's no triangle theory to be found here, he no chin WHATSOEVER.
So? What the **** does that mean? Fighters cant improve, fighters can't get better? That's bull****, you just think GGG is this unbeatable force and can't lose because he's knocking out cans.. get real.. Lemieux ain't ****, he lost to Rubio and Alcine. Who the **** is Macklin? He had one good showing against Martinez and all of a sudden he's top notch? He's garbage. Geale is garbage too, and Murray ain't **** either. Give Jacobs credit for doing good when he does and admit your wrong for predicting an early wipe out in 2 rounds, or playing like you knew it all along. I've had to hear that **** practically this whole year in Kirk's league. Give credit where it's due you get no credit for backtracking.
Don't you think you're exaggerating a bit with saying he has no chin WHATSOEVER? I mean how do you go 32-1 in boxing without having any chin whatsoever? He's also got 29 KOs, that's a very high KO ratio, the guy stands in there in the pocket and has been known to go to war. The Mora knockdown was really a flash knockdown, a nice shot by Mora but seemed to surprise Jacobs more than anything. I think it's also important to point out that Jacobs was diagnosed with cancer less than a year after the Pirog fight. Not making excuses for that or anything, but possibly having cancer around that time may have played a role in that. That said, I wouldn't be shocked if Golovkin stops Jacobs, I think that's probably the most likely scenario. But I wouldn't say there's much to suggest that that's a foregone conclusion.
Terrible fight for Lara. I genuinely feel bad for the guy since he's such a skilled fighter but can't get any of the top guys at JMW in the ring with him. Him being trained by Shields immediately disqualifies Jermall as an opponent, but Jermell left SHields a little while ago so maybe a fight with him would be plausible. Andrade could also talk himself into a fight with Lara although I think if Demetrius gets a couple solid wins and just stays active this year, he won't have to do any trash talking than to make the fight happen. There's not many top guys for him to fight at 154 right now. It's pretty much Jermell, Julian Williams, Canelo (not likely at all,) and maybe some guys from 147 (Brook, Porter,) or 160 that would be willing to meet him at 154. At his age, he can't be taking on guys like Yuri Foreman.
You ****er!!!! I can't debate you, because we're too good of friends!! Happy new years to you too bro!
