And who the **** are you exactly? Probably a fat ******* who can't do ****. I never said I would beat Cornish I gave my opinion which I'm entitled to do, ****ing pansy.
Good to hear the big mans full time. Should have gave it a go years ago. Only so far you can go part time surely. Pretty sure it was stevie mcguire that was in his corner for the joshua fight. Was actually my coach as a kid. He got you working hard thats for sure.
Big Gary might have his limitations and might have lasted less than 1 minute v AJ but one thing that I give him huge credit for is he went right at AJ, he fought to win unlike nearly all his other opponents so far. Showing believe in himself by no doubt investing the AJ purse on going full time so deserves credit for that, so hopefully it works for him. As mentioned in earlier post it will provide good sparring him and Simmons being in the same gym.
Couldnt agree more moog. Even when he went down the first time he got straight back up and went for it again. Probably not the best tactics but at least he went for it unlike say molina. Especially when you consider he was part time getting something like 6 weeks off from his work for it. Going up against an olympic champion probably training 3 times a day.
Gary Cornish was more interested in working out and looking good, than he was in developing as a real HW fighter. On his 23rd pro fight still fighting 6 rounders, after he only recently lost against one of the elites. Other boxers have used losses against elite level opponent to spring board. Looks Like Gary pretty much took 2016 off and wasted the impetus. He should have gone full time right after the AJ loss. I wish him the best, maybe the full time professional approach will see him improve.
You've gotta be able to pay the bills though haven't you. Taking that step into full time 'self employment' is v risky. Relying on your next fight to get paid is a hard place to be, especially when you could quite easily get injured in the build up. Yes he got a fight at the O2 against the current biggest name in boxing, but as soon as the dust settled, I bet his phone wasn't exactly ringing with opportunities. He'd have got used and spat out such is the boxing (or any) business. Hope he succeeds & stays healthy.
If he can look after a few euro bums he might get a shot at Wilder. Better money than plumbing in Inverness.
Is he going to fight anyone with a pulse billy?not One your lock stock guys have fought anyone with s modicum of ability.
i have to agree with this about the lock stock guys tbh but gary is now signed with mgm scotland and they seem to at least try match guys a bit harder
For your information I haven't been involved with lock stock since after there second show, however some of there fighters are doing well so can't see your argument
Think logically guys, Gary's started with a new coach new training methods altogether, it's learning learning learning and some of u want him fired into hard fights straight away, what he's getting taught he will practice daily in the gym once that done he'd be ready
