Umm... he suffered not just a fracture like a clean leg break, the eye bone structure is a lot more complicated. If the corner had let it continue, Kell may well be partially blind or unable to box.
The good news is that he can, thanks to his trainer and friends and their foresight.

An orbital bone fracture. If they were so concerned about that injury that no one there was licensed to diagnose then they would have stopped the fight in the 1st or 2nd round when the fractured occured, not the 5th midway through the fight.

They stopped the fight because the WW was gonna get raped by the MW, nothing more.

There is a very long list of fighters who have had facial fractures and have finished the fight and in some cases WON the fight.

It was a payday they could not refuse and they quit once the pain started to take its toll.
