Fans and historians looked past their losses because substance meant something to them lol... Their wins and losses came against good fighters and H.O.F fighters.

The best guys Vitali fought were Lewis and Byrd. His record is 0-2.

This was Vitalis face after no talent bum Johnson jabbed it off him

Kingpin is one of Vitali's best wins. And if he can do that , then Louis knocks him OUT.

Bryd was with Don King for years post his very lucky win over Vitali.

    Look it up.

He ( Bryd ) was part of a round robin with Ruiz, Golota, Rahman and others. King did not care about musical chairs for the belt, only that his signed men fought each other and he controlled a belt. No way King would have risked Bryd vs Vitali in those years.

As it was it took a lot of money to get Byrd in the ring va Wlad afterVitali'ss first retirment, and he made road kill of Byrd.

Kingpin was ranked 10th by ring magazine at the time. Peter, Sanders, and Adamek were ranked in the top three when Vitali beat them.

No Dino, Kingpin who Vitali SHUT OUT on the cards was not among his best wins.

Are you stupid or something? Vitali fought Byrd in 2000. Byrd Wlad rematch was 2006.

The Vitali Byrd rematch should have been fought in 2000 when he had the rematch clause. Don King was not in the picture then. Vitali ducked that Byrd rematch which proves his win was no fluke.

Chisora and Fury beat Kingpin a lot easier than Vitali did. And Fury toyed with Chisora. Vitali couldnt keep Chisora off him and nearly keeled over after the 12 rounds.

Check out Sanders' earlier fights. Usually he bombed guys out in short order with his straight power punching. His connect rate was usually much higher than against Vitali. I knew Vitali had a good chin, but I hadn't watched that much of him before he met Sanders. I was very surprised at the way he managed to use body sway to make Sanders miss fractionally. I wish Corrie had trained harder for that one :(

I'm going by what I see. He had size and skill, and knew how to use it. Louis isn't particularly fleet footed, so Vitali would be able to play distance games with him. Louis had a great jab - but so did Vitali, who had even more wingspan. Louis punched harder pound for pound ... but Vitali had a lot more pounds and an ATG chin. He would present all sorts of problems to Louis.

Careerwise, I agree with you totally. Louis has a fantastic resume and Vitali's resume probably isn't even top ten.

How does he have an ATG chin? Show me the fights he won where he took a barrage of punches that would knock out most heavy weights??

    1) Vitali never took a barrage of punches because he was too good defensively
    2) The big punches that were landed on him, had no effect
    3) He was never even dropped in his career
    4) Louis was dropped by an ice delivery man

Not getting hit isn't proof of having an ATG chin.

The big punches Lewis landed on him stopped him after 6 round. He was also dazed , rubber legged and hanging on for dear life during that fight. How does badly reacting to shots that lacked mustard on them prove he has an ATG chin?
The 1 or 2 good shots Sanders clipped with with sent him running backwards around the ring like the flash and the other scored an un-official knock down.
Getting hit by Sanders doesn't prove you have a great chin.

Neither was Sven Ottke. Does that mean he has a better chin than Chris Eubank??

You'll say anything to try and justify your hatred towards the Klitschkos... Even if it's complete BS.

It's proof of an ATG defence :deal:

That fight was a doctor stoppage you prat. He was ready to rumble.

He was full of fire, clear headed and landing heavy leather, as well as proving that he was stronger than Lewis in the clinch.

Dino should have been in Vitali's corner: "Block them with your face! WITH YOUR FACE! Are you a man or a mouse?"

Hurrah! I'll add you to the Corrie Sanders appreciation club :eusa_dance:
