Your wrong AJ. Beating a young undefeated WBC champion, with a 97% knockout ratio in 37 fights, will help you become that. I think they call him the bronze bomber, alter ego Deontay Leshun Wilder, and he's gunning for your ass. You go ahead and fight old man Kliltschko, while Deontay goes after another undefeated young lion holding the WBO belt! And he will add that to his collection to become the real undisputed champion.

Something for the Klitschko haters to ponder... If Wlad at the age of 41 clips out Joshua and wins the title for a 3rd time, what does that make him?? :)

    VERY real possibility

Wilder is definitely the man to beat, but at this stage, beating him will make you undisputed, but won't make you an ATG.

Uppercut Artist is right on this. Wlad lost against bums and beat next to nobody of any note. What's his best win?

The 50 and 60 year old sports writers in the year 2040 will talking about Wlad as one of the greatest of all time. You only have 20 years to wait mate!

That is how eras get rated so highly in general. Its based on the era that the respected sports writers grew up with, and when they reach their own peak as writers and journalists on the sport.

The Ali worship like he was the GOAT and the second coming of Jesus has thankfully gone away, as the generation of writers that over hyped and praised him are now in dressing gowns and slippers in the old peoples home.

Agree beating Klitschko will not make AJ a legend. It will build up his CV and will increase his global profile and lead to
in the long run more ppv figures. Joe Smith jr in knocking out Hopkins is not regarded as a legend just like the three
boxers who ko a past the prime Roy Jones jr. Kltitschko its not his fault he never got his signature fight until he is
    past his prime.

Is there such thing as a great win over a 41-year-old, inactive boxer?

It could be a great win for Wlad beating a prime heir apparent who's undefeated.

I think Wlad will win IF he lets his hands go AND he would not take this match unless he thinks he will win.

Lol! And what legend did he beat? His name please? Because remember you have to beat a legend to become a legend. So what legend heavyweight boxer did Jack Johnson beat?

Wladimir did lose against one bum Puritty, so did Ali and Tyson though, against Spinks and Williams. None of them were at their best at the time though. Wladimir had never been past nine rounds before, and had not developed his style yet. Ali and Tyson were both past it.
