Mayweather/McGregor Fight Discussion

Isn't McGregor taking 2017 off completely as he settles down with his GF. I really doubt this fight happens in 2017 when he isn't even fighting in UFC at the moment.

 

I hear even stronger rumors that if that farce would actually happen, I'm not going to watch it.

 

Let me guess its from a reliable source and you have connects with all the top guys in boxing.

 

Fights like this are not unheard of.

Ali fought quite a few weird exhibitions against wrestlers and such. Even an American Football player, I think.

Duran also fought a wrestler, I believe.

Yes, but those were exhibitions. WWE style ludacrisy, in which the opponent could use his own style. Mayweather has done that himself as well.

This is entirely different. What I've heard it would actually be a PPV boxingmatch, counting as a professional boxing match, in which of course McG can't use his MMA skills at all! Complete and utter nonsense.

I agree, you're right. It's a terrible idea and I hope it doesn't happen. If McGregor is serious about boxing then he should start at the bottom, not the top. It's driven by greed I'm sure.

I haven't seen the Ali or Duran exhibitions, I don't don't really know anything about them. I'm going to have look at them when I get home later.

 

The UFC guys are using Floyd's name to get into the media, that's all.
