I asked Lennox if he thought he could ever beat Ali . He said " No way Muhammad is my idol both inside & outside the ring". I agree but rate Lennox as the best HW champ since Ali. Muhammad Ali before his controversial & political 3 1/2 year banishment was UNBEATABLE!!!! Even after he was still AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

 

Of course he wouldn't say that, its impolite, and as he said, Ali was his idol.

 

Of course he hasn't. The vast majority of Ali's opponents were guys who'd compete at LHW and CW today.

You can't read what's in his mind. I recall Ali also said that Lewis surpassed him. So I guess they offset. Or more likely, it means nothing because they were both being polite.

 

oh really lets say nothing had happened before, and ali was a 90s contender or champion who had beaten big names but in lewis' era, or lewis was a contender facing prime ali in the 60s.

lewis is an arrogant, but real bad ass, i like his arrogance, and theres no way if he had fought ali would think he would lose. C.J im sorry but u come out with some **** sometimes.

 

Lewis didn't take the greatest shot. Ali was not a puncher, but he could hurt fighters with an accumulation of punches, which he would do here.

Lennox is actually a quiet even shy guy. He was in no way arrogant to us. He just answered the question honestly. In saying that I sure wouldn't want him mad at me lol I just tell it how it is sorry if you dont like it don't read it ok

yeh you know lewis well, by speaking him for 10mins as he was being humble to a fan. lewis is a bad man, who ruled the 90s and the 90s was one of the hardest hw eras. CJ You spew **** son. lewis speaking with true honesty and not a snivelling fan, would believe he could beat ali's ass all over the ring.

 

Lewis did take a very good shot. Yes he got stopped but he had a good chin. He got up against McCall and the Rahman punch was a great punch but look at some of the other big shots Lewis took off punchers

For the record I have met Lennox several times & he has always been the same nice guy. Did you ever hear Lennox come out trash talking any opponent. ?? No except Riddick Bowe & he was fully justified there the way he was ducked.
