David Price to blast hammer out in a few rounds

When Price knocks him out in a brutal way who would you like Price to face after ?

 

Be a good win this get him back on track, would like to see if in with one of the yanks Jennings (big mouth) miller or stiverne who are all ranked in the top 10 above price. Two wins and he will get the AJ fight.

 

Miller would be a good matchup

 

I doubt Price can beat Hammer.

 

The one thing Ive learned about Price other than his non existent durability, is his complete lack of skill off the back foot.

I tried to believe it was simply a flaw in his defense, correctable in training, but upon careful examination, Ive concluded it is far more detrimental, and likely uncorrectable, even if he was to sign with K2 and enlist the assistance of Jonathan Banks, in teaching him the Manny method of maintaining space and not allowing the opponent to cross the vertical plane that Lennox and Wlad both perfected.

Price simply does not have the coordination in his lower body to make that adjustment, and even a ballet trainer couldnt save his career at this point.

While it's a genuine possibility that Price very well may intimidate Hammer from getting inside behind a DECENT JAB (albeit poor considering his size) , and lead R cross, it's unlikely that Hammer will consider anything Price dishes out as fight ending and will bully his way inside and KHTFO.

My prediction.....Hammer takes another step up the rankings. KO4

 

I don't rate Miller at all but I think he'd be a horrible match up for Price, big, strong, will push him back and hits hard, that's everything Price doesn't want to face.

 

Well I meant if Price scores a big win here and gets his confidence up. I actually think he has the power and range to keep Miller honest enough to get him into the later rounds. That's IF he scores a win here and does so impressively. A back and forth war with Hammer... then nah.

 

I hope so I like pricey it would be nice if he could have a few decent wins in his career

 

He's not done. I believe he will. A Price v.s Fury matchup in a couple years would be fun. The pre-fight buildup would be insane. Lol

 

Fury would make him look silly in the ring

 

I agree Fury would outbox him. But if Price can get his confidence back and fine tune some things it can make a fun fight

 

If Price comes out throwing the right hand with authority it's definitely possible...

 

Bookmakers have Price a big fave for this one which I found quite surprising...

No way man... Prices only chance against Miller is to catch him before he himself gets bombed out. With this version it's next to impossible. Even against the pre-Thompson version I would favor Miller. Also even in the scenario you present Miller would have the advantage because despite his physique he appears to have far superior conditioning to Pricey.... If Price somehow managed to survive the early rounds the constant assault to the body and head would wear him leaving him ripe for the taking. Hard to see anything other than early KO for Miller though.
