If GGG is such a bad man why hasn't he moved up in weight ?

    Ya.... move up in weight when youre on the verge, within a fight or two, of the biggest possible fight you will ever have in your career, against a fellow top 10 p4p fighter as well.

    It hurts his chances, I'm sorry I just don't see Jacobs vs GGG being very big even more so on PPV. I could be wrong. Why K2 would even gamble with Canelo is beyond me. Once this fight sells less than Canelo vs Smith. It allows Canelo to use the same excuse GGG used for Ward. You aren't a big enough draw. <--- I mean GGG used it to duck Ward. But when it's used against him watch the tears.

    Asking such a dumb (reasonS have been ggg same exact goals that are right in front of him) only the most ignorant "fans" would be wondering why the top fighter in boxing is following his dreams and just about completed all his main goals , yet your bumbass has to ask.

    Really, you had to ask the board why the p4p best is doing exactly what he's always been working towards. Fyi: kids, it's got nothing to do with canelo unless he took bjs belt. Without that belt canelo is not his top priority.

    After jacobs ggg wants bjs, or whoever owns that last belt, that's what matters and a huge bonus is breaking hops defense record. Ggg is truly the only MW that stands alone

    The question is, is he trying to be like Monzon, Hagler or Hopkins? I don't think what they did has any bearing on what GGG does or should do. Totally different circumstances.

    1. He's a comfortable middleweight and a natural one.

    2. He has unfinished business at that weight (Jacobs, Canelo, hopefully Saunders for all the belts).

    never understood the appeal of unifying belts.
    the federations will just break them up again when their mandatory isn't fought in preference to one from another federation

    It's really about the money like all the other fighters. Also he can beat Hopkins record don't mean **** look at his level of opposition in comparison lol but keep thinking that kid. I want GGG to collect all his belts so his excuse for not going up and challenging himself is over. I want Ward to rematch Kov and I want Kov to knock him out just because of his "retirement" talks.

    Lets say Golovkin defends his title 22 times (really not that unreasonable to believe he can do that if he wants to), and obviously within the next half a dozen fights or so he will most likely be adding Jacobs, Canelo, and Saunders to his resume (assuming he beats Canelo of course, not a given)

    Youre saying that him holding the middleweight defense record of all time, with a 90% KO percentage during his reign (lets say from here til then someone makes it to the final bell), doesn't mean ****?


    damn.

    I think it would be a reasonable conclusion to say something like ya G has the record but Hopkins reign is still worth a lot more, or, G might have the record but its not as historic as it appears, or something to that effect... but saying to have a title defense record in ANY division, let alone middleweights, doesn't mean ****? Pretty ridiculous.
