Few here understand how unbeatable the boxing public felt Foreman was going into his bout with Ali. It far exceeded any other hwt in my time. He was looked upon as a destructive force that no fighter could withstand. He was an Olympic gold medalist, a 40-0 pro record, undisputed worlds hwt champion, destroyed in two rounds to win the championship a fighter everyone thought unbeatable and destroyed a leading contender, Norton also in two rounds. His power was rated alongside that of Louis and Liston and his jab was called the best since Joe Louis.

In contrast old Foreman came back during a time where he could find a path of least resistance to rewin the championship. He was way past his physical Prime but still carried a ramrod jab, power and durability. The hwt division then as now was so watered down and lacking talent that George could find his way again to the top.

Any thought that George as a 40 plus year old hwt was a better fighter than prime Foreman is just lacking basic understanding of the sport.

That doesn't mean a lot seeing as you live in a trailer in the middle of nowhere. Bareknuckle boxing is not even close to the level of actual boxing. If you remember it was Bert Cooper who knocked out the bareknuckle champ in less than a round.

Then you aren't an Irish Traveller therefore just exposed yourself as a fraud. The only boxing that Irish Travellers do is Bare Knuckle. Also, Irish Traveller's don't go around calling themselves gypsies. So you just referred to yourself as an ethnic slur thinking it was the normal term.

Before you start with the "DagoWop" thing I'll just set you straight here. Nobody refers to Italians as Dagos or Wops anymore. That was used during time when we were seen as non-whites or by non-Italians who had neighborhood rivalry. Seeing as most Italians don't live in poor area's like they used to, it is no longer a problem.

A 7 year old doesn't know dick about boxing I don't care who you are and from what you posted you have the IQ equal which is that of a 7 year old.

    Get wrecked.

For this post lets assume no peds. Of course sports science will make a difference.
Case study 2 fighters who never used strength and conditioning coach and what happened when they did.
Juan Marquez before his 4th fight with Pacman had never used weights. He used a S & C coach for 4 months.
The transformation in physique and power was amazing. I know you will say his coach had a history of cheating
but take that out of the equation he used plyometric's and lifted heavy weights to build muscle for the first time.
Of course this would have a effect under expert supervision .
2nd Case Miguel Cotto . After consecutive losses his career was in danger . After 12 years as a pro Cotto's
camp took a new approach an hired a S & C coach. I know Martinez was past his prime but he got a knew
lease of life and gave Alvarez a tough battle.
Imagine if Joe Frazier who never lifted a weight or even did a pushup had sports science applied to their
training. Same with Foreman , Liston , Shavers and Joe Louis . I'm sure sports science could increase
their power at least 10 to 20 percent and that in itself would be frightening.

It isn't that, it's more that it just isn't possible to conclude he was better in his comeback.
