Hello guys.. I know, I know it gets tiring doesn't it.. lol

Can you share you're thoughts on kells attributes in the ring please?

I think he does most things quite well in the ring, my mate won't have it though..
It's been years and years of him and I arguing over kell and amir.... I've always said kell Kos amir, he won't have it... proper khan fanboy. He doesn't see kell as doing anything in the ring well at all.. I just can't agree with that.

He even said once that khan ko's the flat footed brook..... Flat footed, ko? I nearly fell over with laughter.

Do you think khan does anything better than brook? Other than pitter patter?

I don't, but I'd like to hear a few thoughts on what other boxing fans think..

    Thanks....

Kell's a good fighter and so is Amir

This isn't one sided IMO at all

Amir would probably be favoured to out box Kell because he has that god given speed and he is more skilled.
Brook is very tough and hits more than hard enough to put Amir's lights out

IMO you will probably hear a lot of BS saying Amir has no chance but that is just that BS.

Amir isn't liked and has a lot of haters
Brook is overhyped around here and his resume leaves a lot to be desired

So Amir is underrated and Brook is overrated and its 55-45 in favour of Kell to me because Amir's chin is pretty poor

Spence would light them both up like a Christmas tree, and that's why Kell is in hiding

154 is full of monsters and Kell would be on a hiding to nothing fighting the cream at that weight.

Amir is one of the most talented fighters in the world with a poor chin and delusions of grandeur. Amir doesn't know how to protect that chin or is simply too confident. It is very true he is hard to beat on points.

    More skilled, really...

His running around the ring with pitter patter punches blinds some folks judgement, I can see that...

    Thanks for your tnoughts... :)

Khan is not more skilled. He has fast hands and feet.

Kell has better accuracy, timing and power

For me, Kell has better ring iq, better range of punches, better balance, better defense, better offense...

How does that make him less skilled than amir?

For me, Amir is very amateur like doing nothing but run throwing same same flurry of pitter patter over and again..

I just can't agree with khan being more skilled.. at all.

Thanks for the input though, appreciated....

Amir is a much better combination puncher and has a much larger selection of punches, he is an all rounder and can do it all on offense, heck his defense is really very good he just doesn't react very well when he is hit hard he seem's to lose focus and want revenge/ to get in next and gets hurt easily.

He doesn't have big power but neither does Brook

You don't win Olympic silver medals at 17yo being unskilled and having no punch variety, quite the opposite really

It's a 50/50 fight. That is why people want to see it and will buy the PPV and go to the event.

It would not surprise me in the slightest if Khan boxed his head off and it also wouldn't surprise me if Khan is stopped.

Brooks footwork is his best attribute. Probably the most overlooked attribute for a boxer nowadays and yet everything should start with it.

Callys list of attributes all start with brooks footwork. Even things like his ring iq. Cause he can move opponents about with it etc. He can punch on the move. He makes fighters second guess themselves with it. Hence the reason people kind of have avoided him. Hes like most ingle fighters in that their tricky to fight because they concentrate so much on it. Golvokin found it hard to deal with just went with overpowering him in the end cause he was the bigger man. But watching that fight brook had the beating of him an albeit bigger stronger version of brook. But the style to beat him anyway for me.

And golvokins offensive footwork is fantastic as well actually. But he was struggling a bit with brooks.

GGG was reckless because he was angry and starving and didn't respect Brook one little bit.

GGG on his A game makes easy work of Brook, actually his C game still made easy work of Brook.
Brook could beat GGG I suppose if we was the same size as him, but the size difference was a mountain too far and fantasy because we know Brook is in his 30's and stopped growing many moons ago

Does most things quite well? Does he do anything badly?

He's as solid as an all rounder as there is in the sport in my opinion. Even the Khan fans must acknowledge that Khan's weaknesses are much more glaring than Brooks.

If you was rating each fighters attributes out of 10 and being fair, I doubt you drop below a 7-8 on anything for Brook. But even though Khan might have a couple more 10s here and there, he'd have quite a few in the 3-4 range.

The people on here who are hating on him and don't back up their arguments are people that decided a very long time ago that they would be giving Brook no credit. He could've shut GGG out and they still will have tolds us he's 'a bum'.

I've personally long thought that Brook is completely wrong for Khan- I rate Khan highly too- but I can't think of anyone in Amir's immediate vicinity who would be a worse style match. Khan has the speed, but Brook has the timing, the power and the finishing ability to wreck Khan and wouldn't even take him half as long as it did Canelo.

But as you say, I've seen people whose opinions I respect who say the opposite, so hopefully the fight does happen. Although deep down I think guys like that james5000 up there are praying to Allah every night that it doesn't.

    Your friend seemingly dksab
Khan as fast hands that is it
His footwork is shyte it puts him off balance half the time its jittery movements very predictable
For all theses saying khan this khan that
Go find the interview when he left roach and states I never understood boxing Virgil is now learning me defence ring movement different shots being smart tying up etc etc
So he is telling you different to what your all stating
The one reason the brook khan fight ain't happened as they all know the out come
They ain't cracking that piggy bank open yet

If they ever fight I think it will resemble Khan Vs Garcia, Khan starting fast, looking lightening quick and Brook will try to time him, Brook will get closer and closer and at some point Khan will get greedy on a combination like he always does or just get lazy and stay in front of Brook for a second too long and Brook will time him and ruined him.

Then we'll get the same old Khan/Team Khan/Khan Fan argument "I/Khan was dominating until I/he got caught with a lucky punch".

We've seen and heard it all before, it's so predictable.

If you watch the fight james...brook was making him fall just short a lot. His footworks subtle but it was that that was giving golvokin the problems.

Golvokins best work was when he put brook on the ropes. In the middle of the ring brook done his best work. Again for me...he uses his footwork to just move that half inch out of range at the last second. Golvokin was getting frustrated with it...was also beginning to empty his tank just a little bit too much. Was the perfect style to beat golovkin. As you said though just too big for brook plus brook didnt have the power to keep him honest because of the size difference. If he had both he would have beat golovkin imo.
