HBO put those silly stats on your TV screen and boxrec just use them HBO has a love child named GGG, They are pushing hard for the fight and trying to maximise interest by making a mismatch look like the fight of the century GGG vs Canelo = **** fight GGG vs Degale/Ward/CEJ now there are some fights i'd like to see
The one who refused to face top contenders at 160 but instead consumed all the useless British level MWs with padded records and now moved to SMW to find some more, who's also very excited to get a crack at the IBO world(believe it or not, he said that) title.
The one The only The Beast of Brighton Future HOFer Christopher Livingstone Eubank Jr Its not fashionable around these parts to big up CEJ but I don't care, the guy is a warrior and the bandwagon is just starting up. Us CEJ fans accept all comers on the bandwagon, its never too late to sign up.
I admit that I do like Eubank (inside the ring) and I am really really looking forward to him stepping it up... if he could show his improvements in the ring and capture a top 8 scalp or two (Lemieux, Ndam, Quillan, Saunders, hell... even a Murray) leading up to a Golovkin fight, a primed, mean, big Eubank would be a very exciting rival for an aging Golovkin. But wow.... talk about premature.... Because Eubank, as of now, has done practically nothing to show hes at the level of a Canelo, was beaten by Saunders, yet the guy that calls Canelo a **** fight, nor seems interested in Golovkin fighting the guy that beat Eubank, lists Eubank as a guy that excites them for a G opponent? And G should leave his division and abandon fights with Canelo and Saunders to do it? lol...
BJS didn't beat CEJ he just got the W That was a close victory for CEJ in my eyes, so tbf I can't really begrudge the result but I feel it would have been a clear CEJ victory if he fought hard from the opening bell. CEJ has improved at every opportunity since and also think BJS would give Canelo all sorts of problems as well. I rate Jacobs and BJS as much better wins than Canelo @ 160 BJS is an underrated fighter himelf, but CEJ will go on to achieve greatness in the next decade
Eubank Jr did not inherit his father punching power or iron chin. Because of the family name he will always attract attention. With some many alphabet titles should win the IBO title next month. The current Britian mw / sm have nothing on the golden era of Eubank jr , Benn , Watson or Steve Collins .
Fyi: you can win without knocking your opponent out, you can grasp that no ? I think so little of regale and so highly of canelo, I would take the idiotic odds and take ginger for ud12
He has shown a great chin so far and his pops been down AND legitimately hurt, I've yet to see cej anywhere close to being buzzed, but I'll admit his chin had not been truly proven. I also believe cej beat bjs even only really fighting 2nd half. Cej has shown me he has more talent than his pops and could reach greatness if he truly puts it all on the line risking himself for possible greatness. Moving to the worst division in boxing isn't very smart, mw is getting crazy hot and ****ing loaded atfm. Cej should had done everything possible to fix that b.s. bjs garbage decision, then maybe 1 more before ggg
No **** I just don't believe he has a shot of winning a boxing match as he's not that good imo to beat someone more skilled and naturally larger. All I was saying about his power is, he didn't carry his pop with him from 140 very well, so I don't believe he would even have enough of a punch @168 to even keep DeGale from walking through his shots with no problem and doing a number on The Redhead unimpeded. I also suspect a decent percentage of the 95% of the vote for DeGale thinks the same way, You're the one out on a limb in a very small minority vote which probably consists of you and your alt. You not grasp that, yes?
