Most of them would be in the low 200's if they were in the same shape as past timers. Dillian Whyte & Derrick Chisora- Two blubbers who gas after 6 rounds Andy Ruiz- An obese light heavy weight with a 5 round gas tank. Stiverne- Flat footed barrel belly Povetkin- used to be known as the Michelin man and Pillsbury dough boy before he pumped himself full of Peds Ortiz - Jelly body ped popper who hadn't the gas to catch Malik Scott Joshua - Untested . Looked gassed out after two rounds vs Whyte WK-Low out -put.Major stamina issues and has to hold non stop to conserve energy Joe Parker - Has the gas tank of a 45 year old Lucas Browne- A bum David Haye- Fighting Tony Bellew Thats your modern era. Those are the guys former greats would have no chance against. The only guy i left out was Wilder but everybody calls him a bum and one of the worst Champs of all time.
Heavier boxers have more punch resistance than lighter boxers on average. For example Joe Frazier against heavyweights of his era was considered a big puncher with a record of 32-4-1 with 27 KO's, that is a 73% KO rate, which is impressive. If you break his record down in to heavyweights and cruiserweights(under 200 pounds), you get to see exactly how the weight of his opponents effects his punching power, because heavier opponents have more punch resistance. For example against cruiserweights under 200 pounds Frazier KO'ed 17/17 of them 100%KO rate. Against opponents 200-214 pounds Frazier KO'ed 5/9 of them drops to 55% KO rate. Against what we would call heavyweights today 215+ opponents it falls again to 5/11 36% KO rate. When you are heavier you have more weight behind your punch, and have more punch resistance. This phenomenon can be observed in Ali, Shavers, Tyson, Brewster, Holyfield, Norton, Haye, Byrd etc. It is undeniable, it is a fact.
explain HOW, you've been asked once already, and you've not answered at all. and dont write "it is undeniable fact" etc that just makes you look desperate, especially since you've not tried to explain HOW yet.
NO you didn't, you offered stats. This is the only thing you wrote in an attempt to explain- there is zero explanation there, you've just correlated one with the other. Tell me HOW it works.
Yes I did. I said if you are heavier you have more weight behind your punch, and have more punch resistance. Like if a throw 50g pebble at you it will hurt a lot less than if I throw a 1kg stone at you. Then I backed it up with showing you that when a opponent get's heavier they have more punch resistance as you can see with Frazier(and other heavyweights)struggling to KO larger opponents. And by showing to you when Frazier is heavier he outguns his lighter opponents.
How is it a fact?? Because a troll said it on his blog ? Everything you posted came from that blog , which has now rightfully been deleted. The blog also said Mormek would have been one of Ali's best wins.. Is that a fact too?
Oh look.. another alt created to like their own posts. James Smith . Member since yesterday. Posts =zero
A 50g pebble thrown at blinding speed = death. How come Wlad and Price are built like brick chit houses yet pack glass chins and 210 pound Merovic has a better chin than both of them put together ?
Dimentriko was 255 pound Tackam was 240 pound Dimentriko was blown away in 3 rounds . Takam went the distance and was never close to being dropped.. Explain.
To put it simply.. Do u honestly think a heavyweight from say 1920 s up to 1960 s could handle the strength and weight of a modern day heavy weight.? U can't have a time machine and bring them forward to find out but I'm using reality. Johnson, dempsey and marciano would be destroyed. I'm not a hater, I love the old guys but there not beating modern day fighters
