I noticed Eddie Hearn alluding to Anthonys name and basically suggesting time to earn the big money. How much will Crolla be earning for Linares without PPV are we talking Millions or a couple of hundred thousand? Im guessing Crolla in last 2-3 years of career and will now be eyeing up hard earned financial security for life after boxing

He got £500k for the original Linares fight. I would say he is getting roughly that again.

For the Barroso fight he got about £250k. Basically since he has been with Eddie Crolla has made about £1.5m. In his own right he is financially set.

Good money then. Just when you see the figures for AJ v pretty much rollovers it doesn't seem quite a much, but for average man in the street fantastic money and as you say enough to set him up for life

Indeed. He's sold out some pretty big arenas now so I can see why you would think he might have earned more. 250k for Barroso as a headliner seems awful when compared with Tom Doran Eubank seeing 150k purses handed out.

Yeah I thought be on a bit more, especially when Hearn said over 100k for Eggington v Garcia was laughable, sure Langford was on for 120k against CEJ. Watched Crolla v Linares again last night, great fight great atmosphere

Which arenas did he sell out? I was at both the barroso fight (around 7k) and the Linares fight (around 12k), both decent crowds, and good atmosphere. neither close to selling out.

Hope he gets set for life really seems like a nice guy and his a shining example of why hard work trumps talent when the talent doesnt work hard.

With that being said he will be getting a schooling by Linares again, hope he gets paid for this one although I doubt he will be getting as much as when he had the belt.

Any idea on the tax arrangement...I imagine he has the purse paid to a limited company and then pays a dividend to himself?
