Signed, sealed and delivered. Very interesting fight this, whatever the outcome going to see Davies up against it at some point in this fight, may give us an idea as to exactly how far he is or isn't going

Matthews hasn't fought at 140 before has he? If Davies is anything at all he should beat Derry now

Yeah Derry been and done it, but gave Flanagan a run it's an interesting test for Davies, though like you say if Derry was my boxer long as financially set up which he should be then I'd side with calling it a day.

Never done 140 not sure if that's good or bad for him, his stoppages have usually been from or started from bodyshots it might be he holds these better a weight up, alternatively it might be a weight to far

Got a lot of respect for Derry Matthew's but the lad is shot to bits now and can't see him making it to the later rounds.

I was at the Choi fight to watch Michael Jennings, my abiding memory is of Derry walking around and around the arena for the entire night shaking his head in disbelief, I may be wrong but sure Crolla got turned over by El Hamidi on the same show.

Suprised to see that Davies is obviously a very clear favourite in here given reaction to his Scarpa fight

I agree, he looks shot to me, Derry has had a long hard career and been in some very good fights but he now looks like a fighter who is padding his pension and I won't dig him out for that, I wish him all the best.

Although O'Hara looked bang average in his last outing I expect this to be a one sided beating.

I think Davies is going to be too big, young and fresh for Derry.
Although I'd love to see him pull it off and immediately hang up gloves.

My memory is shot to bits but I seem to recall your right
Any one who followed Jennings appreciates their boxing and that win shows how fundamentally good brook is I mean he handled him in with ease finished him in the sassasme round as cotto iirc and had a very off night not looking great himself and not tasking training serious
But some will have you believe Michael is a bum
They would kill to have the talent that lad as in his little toe alone
