I think Chunky will beat Jack just due to his adaptability and awkwardness, I usually go with the fighter with more tools in their locker. However Jack is a live underdog and if Degale takes rounds off like he usually does then it will be tight.

If Jack wins there is an argument to suggest he has the best series of fights/wins in a row, Dirrell-Groves-Bute-Degale-Smith is a great/tough schedule plus he would be unified. Do you agree?

    No doubt about it,

He'd have one solid resume not sure if it cracks top ten but an argument could be made. He'd also have a shot at GGG if he ever moves up. I could certainly see GGG selecting Jack as his first fight at 168lbs.

To be fair his resume is better than GGGs already although I think GGG would beat him.

I think Jack is an overachiever, his not really talented he just seems disciplined, very solid foundation, doesnt neglects his jab, goes to the body early and picks his moments to add in his combos. The way his rebuilt his career is commendable regardless of the result he is a solid fighter.

Again you make some awesome points....in many ways he's Danny Garcia but with a hiccup early in his career. The guy knows how to get it done, sometimes hard work and dedication plus a sprinkle of talent goes a long way.

It would be a solid resume but don't live in the future by putting Smith there. Another the other hand Degale would have a similar resume if he wins as I don't rate current groves very high. But as far as the best goes? In best string of consecutive wins Chocolatito has him beat. and if you want to argue that then Pacquiao is a person that exists.

Would Mayweather throw Jack under the GGG bus in his first 168 fight or wait and see what he brings to the SMW division first?

Jack is so basic. But I agree, he taking down ranked opponent after ranked opponent. Still think DeGale styles on him.

Not "one of the best," but yeah, would be an impressive couple wins of late.

I'm not a huge Jack fan. Like Floyd says, he is basic and has no special effects.
However, so far, he knows how to win and win against solid competitors. If he keeps going like this, he will definitely be P4P worthy.
