Beterbiev vs Marciano @ 185

This guy looks good. I hope he is able to maintain this superiority over a class of fighter he has not fought yet. If he can, when he does, we can say for sure but until then beterbiev is about as good as you can look against what he fought until now. But it is so far short of the quality Rocky fought.

 

Marciano by KO. Marciano beat ATGs in the 190 pound range and remained undefeated. Don't think Beterbiev did enough to really qualify being put into match ups like these. Let's see how his career unfolds.

 

Beterbiev is no joke. But I'd like to see a bit more of him before I start mentioning him in the same breath as Marciano.

Can Beterbiev keep it up through 15? I have my doubts.

For now I have to go with the guy that was proven in fire, Marciano.

 

Artur's had 11 fights against nobodies. Guys who Marciano might accidentally cause some serious damage.

Matt Korobv had over 300 amateur wins. Never down , never hurt... Got pasted in 6 by And Lee.

Beterbiev, 11-0, 11 KO's, some of which are brutal would have to move up to at least cruiserweight for a fair call, but I will say this. He's an all time top 5 power-punching light heavy.

In the AM's Beterbiev has a top chin, and he has fought at heavyweight.

 

As of right now, gotta go with Rock. Way more proven and we haven't seen enough of Beterbiev. But Artur is definitely an animal and will be making a lot of noise in the next few years

 

Again lets put this into reality and perspective...Beterbiev has a proven chin,has great amatuer backround ,has speed and can brawl or box...he s bigger and stronger and has 73 inch reach to marciano's 68...Hes a more polished grinder and this isnt 1950's anymore. Marciano has been cut by weaker punchers and floored. this guy is a opure anvil who throws in bunches ,Marciano was a slow stalker who threw mainly one punch hammers at a time,very little punches in bunches and literally no jab to set things up. Beterbiev is well rounded and would shift gears if neccessary,Marciano only had one gear and that was to slowly bull and tire his opponents out. its competitve up until mid rnds and Rocky gets k.od.

You could make the argument that Wilder beats any heavyweight in history, then. Just look at his record!

Beterbiev has to dispose of guys a bit better than Cloud before I (and the rest of the folks who know what's up) entertain the idea that he could beat an undefeated ATG at his own game. Beterbiev passes the eye test, but then, it's easy to look good when you're hitting a heavy bag

I like Artur and would want to see more of him

Those who voted for Marciano dont know whats up,otherwise would have made their same breakdown i did, because i gave examples as to why it would come down to that,nothing more is needed.

Wilder is not a sturdy all around solid fighter ,he has one shot power and awkard angles and length,not sure where me picking Beterbiev who obviously has all the advantages against Marciano has to do with wilder against all the past HW's,because it doesnt. Betebiev can beat the entire division that wouldnt change a marciano match up,you do realize this right?


Marciano would look like a crude slow , desperate fighter against the fast vicious,punching at angles or just coming forward Beterbiev,he would get severly banged up and stopped. Half the ppl on here probably have never seen or took time looking at actual footage of him ,and just saw MARCIANO and decided this was a mismatch as is usually the case when FAMOUS fighters are used.

Marciano had paper thin decision wins with Lastarza at 185 who is weaker/slower and not half the talent of Beterbiev ( yet Roland frustrated Marciano with moving at angles and combination punching ,something rare in those days), yet these guys act like Betebiev is going to get killed even though hes fought at Hw and won and would fight at 185 with no effort at all...do you see the irony yet?

Case in point the above post directed at me...see NO logic or thought ,just the MARCIANO name. These ppl have little brain power and act like they are smart,as you can see, mr grinder had nothing logical about the actual match. And if Dino is liking (anyones )comment that usually means they are like FLAT LINE material as well...........................
