I don't call it arrogance, stupid not to put in a rematch clause yes, but not arrogant at all.
Before the fight Indongo hadn't even ever beaten a top100 opponent as I recall. Clear case of a cherrypick gone horribly wrong.

I think it was a bit of both. Arrogance because they completely overlooked the African, and stupidity because what if Troya had suffer a freak injury like twisting of a knee or some ish like that and thus lose by "ko". You always have to put a rematch clause because you never know...
This showed that Russian promoters are still new in this game

In a parallel universe where Bud ages faster than the rest of the world and and turns 45 in a few months, maybe.

Nah, I'd favour a 45 year old Crawford over any version of Burns.

indongo vs crawford i see happening if indongo wins.

but what is crawford going to do in the mean time ? there isnt any one really out there.

moving up to 147 might not be a bad idea. broner gunna be moving up there you will still have that big money fight. and to challenge guys like danny garcia and manny pac would be great.

Indongo could well be a new beast of the division, if he KOs Burns early then he is the real deal

Burns was green the last time he fought Crawford. He's ready now

He's fighting 140 in his next fight. There is a difference between can't and can't be bothered.

This. But, Burns is pretty durable so I don't see him getting knocked easily or quickly.

There is no rematch clause for Jacobs vs GGG, back in the day many big name fighters didn't include rematch clauses in their contracts. It's the way champions used to do it.

It was announced at their press conference just yesterday. You can probably find it on youtube.

    Damn !!

In that case, if GGG gets beat he's done at MW. Nobody will fight him without a belt. He has to move up if he losses.
