This is the type of argument that separted the baptists from the southern baptists. Floyd'd right but this is going to polarise the nuthuggers of these boxers.
This is going to be one of those TKO6 type threads but I do agree. Kovalev was a much bigger challenge than Phloyd took during his career. People may say that he fought Canelo. Yes, but Wragello's not great and gutless. He's just following Phloyd as the next big earner, but hardly the best fighter. Phloyd fought Corrales but that was no Kovalev. Ward clearly got diassembled by Kovalev. Floyd got the decision against Pac. They've always had the rub of the green.
This guy is a joke, I dont mind him saying that Ward lost alot of people share that opinion, but calling his trainer rubbish just because he never boxed is a joke. Some of the best trainers were not great boxers or even boxers at all. Before the fight Floyd told Andre not to take the fight because they are probably gunna rob him. I think this is probably sour grapes because Andre snatched Stevenson right out of Floyd's hands. Regardless Mayweather is known for making several self serving statements which he later contradicts, like his calling Gonzalez p4p no.1 but if Gonzalez retires 52-0 Floyd will say he aint better than me he beat bums.
I'm not talking about weight, public opinion, Holyfield, or the newspaper. I am saying that no matter how you live, whenever you read Wards boxing record, the Kovalev fight will be registered as a win for Ward.
This is the ultimate problem with Floyd because whatever statement he makes, he goes on to contradict later on. What he says just has no value. He tries to be endearing when he admits (many times) that he contradicts himself but it's at that stage where it's pointless talking to him.
