-Ggg gets his second title against David Lemieux. Yes the same GREAT David Lemieux that got KTFO by Marco Antonio Rubio and outboxed by Alcine.
-Ggg gets the WBC title thrown at him after Cotto dumped it in the trash, not before milking it and getting his biggest payday with it, and then Canelo dumped it in the trash after the WBC all of a sudden started enforcing its rules.

To answer the question Canelos stock was dropping long before the Smith fight,I'm still a fan of Canelo the fighter in the ring actually as I like how he fights,never takes a backward step and is always up for a tear up which is why many wAnt to see him against GGG,that said I know many who were fans of Canelo and got fed up with Oscars mismatches when he promised to do the opposite,quite simply his stock dropped when he made the mistake of saying he's ready in the ring and then just a few days later gave up his belt,it's unfortunate that he'll always be remembered for that.
Non related question but I thought Canelo was gonna be lined with Monroe after Monroe beat the human punching bag Gabe Rosado?

 

That list don't make sense, Pacman clearly made alot more than GGG it isn't arguable he made a killing in the Vargas fight alone, Heck Ward made more against Kovalev than GGG did in the ring

AJ made much more, Charles Martin would have made more ffs
