Exactly. I wouldn't even mind him saying if we cut these leeches out then we can pay the fighters more AND give fans a better deal - which you could - but he's not interested in anything other than ripping everyone off personally.

It won't sell. It's not the worst card but the main event is not capturing the public's imagination.

Haye Bellew and Wlad AJ will sell

I agree, although I believed ITV are doing this as a tester/introduction into the market. I don't know what Eubank is on, but Quinlon only taking home about £45k so purse wise it's not really a risk. If ITV can get the set up right they couldn't in years to come become a major rival to sky in the ppv Market. Imagine they got there hands on Joshua when he decided to brake from the Hearns etc

It's worth noting that there are other ITV4 cards planned so if the PPV bombs it might not be the end for boxing on the network entirely.

Ppv is what's ruined boxing in general. Especially for the American market. How can they justify $100 for a fight , it's beyond incomprehensible

And they wonder why Americans have turned their back on boxing. In this country we just about manage to maintain intereti as ppv is not extortionate.

I like the Eubanks model just dont agree with ppv off the bat for a subpar fight.

BBC should spend some money and get some brits behind them. I'm fed up of Eastenders, sack that drab **** and pay some boxers I may pay my tv license then

Frank and Eddie will be sh1ting their selfs if eubank pulls it off. Who needs a promoter when you can do it your self.

To be fair to Audley he was in the right place at the right time- the BBC was flushed with money/Saturday night time after losing the Premier League rights. So flushed in fact that they broadcast the Lewis/Rahman fight live. They also showed highlights on Saturday afternoons as well.

Boxing on terrestrial TV can easily survive if promoters and fighters accept that you forgo money for greater exposure. I'd really like to see a long term deal from a terrestrial broadcaster signed so that fighters have the outlet to make the decision.

Lol did you hear what eddie said he did? Apparently he wanted an appearance fee to turn up to eddies old man's bday party. The guy seems to only care about fam and money, if you wanna see how strange and twisted this guy really is watch Louis Theroux and the Eubanks. I'll post the link at some point.

This won't sell at all for 2 reasons.
    A. It is ridiculius to put on PPV.
    B. Hearns trolls are in full attack mode.

I hate the idea of PPV and wouldnt buy it but i would go to the event as its a decent card and i have paid to see alot worse for 50-60 quid!

This will bomb because as a card it would not even get on Sky sports or Box nation as it is.

To put it on PPV is going even further in terms of pee taking.

Still "Old English" doesnt realise that this strategy he is taking is going to fail. Because as soon as Junior steps up again he loses again, because his competition is so weak. Then any big money fights will be nowhere to be seen

Calm yourself down please. We don't need another person getting all hysterical about Eubank having a fight on ITV PPV as though it's an outrage (while at the same time as making threads about it all). Don't like it or can't afford it? Then do something else.

Who's getting hysterical, I simply gave my view and asked to hear others if you don't wanna see someone else's view get the **** off the site.

Of course I do, like I said it's a decent under card not PPV worthy but if they had put it on for free then built a decent following, they could later introduce PPV and not only would it help boxing become more popular in the U.K. again they would probably end up with more money in the long term.
