Is anyone else willing to admit they was wrong with who they first scored the Ward-Kovalev fight for

    i respect your opinion you always keep it real and you know your ****. Have you rewatched the fight?

    I admit i have yet to rewatch the fight... but i have to ask you man,

    When
    ~ roy jones, robert garcia, and pbf say he lost
    ~ around 70% of every public poll says he lost
    ~ he, as the challenger to kovas titles... threw less punches, landed less punches, landed the less meaningful punches, AND got knocked down... and yet left with Kovas belts...

    At some point doesn't it make you wonder if maybe you scored this one wrong? (Not saying you did score it wrong im just wondering what your thoughts are on all that)

    You know... in most 'controversial' decisions, the guy that won the close fight, actually landed more punches. In this fight however, not only did kova land more... not only did he throw more... he even knocked ward down for good measure.

    Dont you find it just a little odd that theres not another fight in history where a champion gets dethroned in that manner? (Whens hes thrown more landed more and scored a kd)

    Idk... just curious as to your thoughts.

    You have rewatched it though?

    I have re watched it and I respect your opinion. But I scored it for ward I don't have my scored card but I posted it before. I have no problem with people saying kovalev won it was a close fight that could have gone either way. Ward was more effective imo in the second half of the fight and if kovalev had not scored the knockdown people wouldn't even be saying it was a close fight.

    Floyd says what he thinks when it comes to boxing scores. To knock him is to say you know more about boxing than Floyd, just ****ing preposterous.
    I agree though, I am over who shoulda woulda coulda won.

    I'm not going to get involved in 2nd guessing the judge's decisions but I can say with confidence how dapper P4P #1 Andre Ward looks with the WBO, WBA and IBF belts wrapped around his GQ profile waist. Now all he needs to to setup that fight with Stevenson and grab the remaining WBC belt to complete the collection.
    Then he can think about giving Kovalev another shot to redeem himself.
