Floyd Mayweather NEVER DARED TO BE GREAT

He's an ATG imo, but in no way shape or form could he bother Floyd at 130.. just too big, too quick, too good!

 

Disagreed about the ATG, he's not close. And of course he wouldn't have beaten Floyd at 130. He would not have won 1 round and would have been knocked out early, VERY EARLY!!

One of my biggest beefs with Floyd was, he didn't try to unify any divisions. He was fine getting his belt, and moving on. When there's 4-5 belts in each division, that take major lustre of being a multiple division champ. Look at his son Broner...4 division champ already? Shows it can be garbage too.

Margarito was all wrong for that boring featherduster. Mayweather always cleverly chose fighters past their best or made them move up a division. But he was even scared of a shot Margarito lol. If he lost plenty of rounds to an average plodder like Maidana hes gona be losing rounds and getting hurt against a beast like prime Margarito.

 

First PBF was 37 when he fought Maidana he wasn't prime like he would have been when a PBF-Margo fight would have happened so stop it.

Second Margo and Maidana fight nothing alike Maidana is a much more skilled than Margo that's not up for debate.

Well, he beat lineal and partially unified champions at WW and JMW and did ultimately unify against Pacquiao at 147lbs. In essence, his fight with Corrales was a unification at 130lbs, since they were number one and two at the weight, and were both undefeated titleholders who had never lost their respective straps in the ring. So that;s three out of five weight divisions where he established clear primacy. Castillo was regarded as the clear divisional number one at 135 and any real challenge to Mayweather's subsequent claim went by the wayside when Spadafora took himself out of the mix. That leaves JWW- and neither Hatton nor Cotto were all that inclined to face Floyd at that point in their respective careers.

So, in general he was pretty thorough about consolidating whatever claim he had on any particular division.

Oscar (dehydrated zombie)
Hatton (right after getting KO'ed by Floyd and put on ***** Street by lazcano)
Cotto (damaged goods, catchweight, have to include ring age due to close clotted fight as well)
Shane (post old overnight, ring age and actual age included)
Margarita (coming off a loss, damaged goods from Shane, rehydration clause, ring age)
Barrera (war torn slightly, Mannys best win but still, were using your covenant ring age that matters most lmao)
Morales (war torn, dehydrated and weight drained, coming off a loss, significant ring age lmao).
