When man takes care of Badou Jack tommorow night.

Callum Smith will get dealt with and then he will possibly wipe out Ramirez/Groves.

When Triple G finally grows some nuts and takes a trip up north to 168 and faces my man he will be swinging at thin air all night.

James is looking ripped and with a s & c coach he will now start knocking out heads.

Saying that if Jack somehow wins I believe he will also beat C.Smith inside 6.

hmmm not so sure on that.

Already lost to Groves (ud favour degale now though), and I can JD's see relatively low stamina for a top tier fighter costing him at some point.
Degale V GGG is an interesting fight tho one id like to see

tough fight Vs Jack first. Think groves Vs De Gale is a 50/50 also. Ramierez starts Fav Vs JDG. CS starts 30/70 dog vs him IMO.

Degale arguably best SMW around atm. Other contenders are Ramierez, Groves, Jack

No. Doesnt have enough time on the clock to emulate those guys. Plus there arent enough beasts left in the sport for him to fight. Calum Smith is not a beast, easy work for Degale. I'm talking about top top level operators. Look at Froch's resume man.

Quite impressed with him in his latest IFLTV interview. Seems to really appreciate the extra levels you can reach with help from nutrition and strength and conditioning specialists. Admitted he used to just try and do it all himself.

Watched his fights against Groves and Smith last night. The difference in his conditioning now is like night and day.

Fingers crossed he beats Jack and Groves takes Chudinov. What a unification fight that could be (forgetting Callum for a sec I know). The winner would then have his eyes firmly set on one of the greatest prizes in the history of sport ... the IBO World title.

DeGale is only 30 mate. Most of Froch's biggest wins were from the age of 30, which include Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham, Bute, Groves etc. So he does have time to put himself in that bracket, but who knows.

I think he did enough to beat Groves though, only watched the fight in the week. Close fight but I thought Degale edged it

well its bit early to say he will surpass froch, who has the best resume of the three by a fair bit.

Obviously certainly you can argue he will surpass calzaghes resume in quality terms if he beata badou, hell even if he doesnt he has a better quality resume. Callum will too once he gets three big names on his resume.

There was a reason Froch retired rather then face his mandatory challenger. James would of mad myman look stupid. Wouldn't of even been a contest. Trust me on that.

well froch was 37, he had a right to retire since he was no longer able to give us his best. so wings n roundabouts with that.

I really like DeGale he's a throwback fighter.

I don't think when things are all said and done he will be thought of as good as either Calzaghe or Froch. I don't think he beats either of them H2H, and there isn't the calibre of fighter around for DeGale to test himself against as good as either Joe or Carl unless perhaps he moves up to 175 and beats Kovalev but I'm almost certain that doesn't happen.

A great path for DeGale would be Jack > Smith > Groves > Eubank Jr and then move up to 175.
