He's obviously doing something right with Danny as he sky rocketed up the ladder imo into one of the best fighters in the world!!!! And his knowledge is pretty good, and he's entertaining!!!

I love Angel he made something out of his son and turned him into a world champ when no one thought he could do it. He's also great for boxing and can sell Danny's fights since Danny doesn't talk trash.

There's method to his madness when it comes to apparently taking the limelight from Danny. It might seem like that's what he's doing, but in fact he's deflecting attention (and pressure) from his boy, leaving him to focus on the job in hand. I have no idea how good he is as a technical coach but in terms of psychology he's first class. Chris Eubank Snr attempts this with junior but somehow fails to walk that fine line between deflecting and usurping...

Angel Garcia has done a great job with Danny as he is not a physically gifted fighter and he has
overcome adversity with major upsets . For this alone Angel deserves a A mark.
