:pancarta: I don't think It makes sense to discuss this with you. But still it was one of the biggest ducks in recent boxing history

Funny, because when someone offers you your biggest payday 3 fold immediately after vacating, and you say its not enough, that is a duck if there ever was one.

How can you duck a fighter while simultaneously send him a contract for his biggest payday ever? Explain that one to me.

"Immediately after vacating." When? Show me the source of the offer that was made in may of 2016. Are you lying again?

Canelo vacated his title in may of 2016 and offered the fight for september of 2017. You can't duck a fight that's at the negotiation stage. But title you can duck a fight when you vacate your title and then say that you don't want it until 15 months later.

“All I need is for GGG and his people to at least call us back and negotiate and to take the offer, GGG has said that he’s not a businessman and he’s said publicly that Canelo is going to offer him $2 million. Well, guess what? There’s an eight-figure number on the table for Golovkin. Sign the contract and let’s stop with this nonsense.”

4 months isn't immadiate kid. And making an offer 4 months after vacating your title for 12 months later is definetly not immediate.

You do realize it takes a lot of work and some time to put fights together and work out all the details. What do you think happens? The promoters wakes up one morning and just pulls a random number out of his ass?

Get real dude. You're arguing over a couple months? lol

This isn't a bad fight and obviously playing on the Mexican v Mexican Mano a Mano grudge match angle it's going to do good money especially on cinco de mayo, which is obviously the name of the game.

That said, nor is it some kind of must see. Someone comparing it to Morales- Barrera nearly made me fall off my chair. I don't see either fighter being on the level of those guys but Canelo can at least hold a candle to them. Chavez at this stage is nothing more than a contender trading on his father's name. There are about half a dozen super middleweights I'd back to beat him. Think Canelo will handily outdo him in any way you care to mention.

GBP knew very well negotiations would begin right after the Khan fight, so they had more than enough time to set up an "immediate" offer. Or maybe they held off the offer because they thought It would've been ridicuolus to make an offer for 15 months later.

Exactly! He will walk through hell trying to get canelo out of there. He will come up short but it will be a great test of wills.

He's a lot less likely to end up in the hospital or with his jaw wired shut fighting Alvarez over GGG too, if we're being honest.
