    I'm sure the comparison is not the level of boxing, but the level of stardom.

    Canelo and Chavez are the two biggest names in Mexican boxing at the moment, just like MAB and Morales were the two biggesnt names in Mexican boxing back in 2000.

    Finally! We got the civil war Mexicanos been waiting for years. I really dislike Jr s lazy, entitled ass, but he's got heart. I think Canelo will go after Cotto after he flattens Jr into a pupusa. And in 2018, hopefully we get the real classic we've been waiting for. Classic war or classic ass beating, but GGG vs Canelo is the one we all been waiting for. Chavez Jr had his chance, he's a disgrace Imo fighting bum after bum and depending strictly on his size to win. I hope he retires after this so he can go smoke all the churros he wants.

    I doubt you can call it a cherry pick when one fighter has to move up 2 divisions to fight a power slugger like Chavez.
