Id love to see Mayweather treat CM like a punching bag for as long as it lasts. Making him either quit or get stopped by the ref with his face a mess.

    Hope they make it happen.

Beating CM to break RM's 49-0, is that really how FM wants to leave the sport? #50, will tarnish his legacy as much as it will boost his bank account...

Yeah think I worded it wrongly though, what I meant to say is although it's a somewhat similar sport it's too hard to transition and used Hayne's NFL attempt as an example. I haven't been keeping tabs on Hayne's but I figured he'd always have Rugby to fall back on, nice to hear that's exactly what has happened.

If Floyd loses is there a rematch clause?

Have to be at MMA rules surely?

    Farce fight anyway.

It's crazy how much hype and money this fight would generate considering it would be a non contest and glorified exhibition match for Mayweather.

    60/40 most. I think 50/50 is fair.

If Floyd wants a 90% Split, fight him in the Octogan. McGregor PPV power is 1.5+ without a dance partner. He's a huge star.

He's also way more relevant now than Floyd is.

Also, he never lands on Floyd and gets hopelessly outclassed if they fight. (As Floyd would in an Octagon)

Hoping McGregor wins but knowing darn well Floyd is going to put a monumental beating on him.

On the plus side, one of my friends thinks Conor will destroy PBF and we have a bet on the outcome

Easiest money I ever made :aaaaa:

IMO it is pathetic that there is so little going on in MMA that this dominates MMA message boards.
MMA is a deep trouble long term, if you can't see that you are probably dumb enough to believe McGregor vs Mayweather is actually going to happen.

Mayweather just said last night "I am the face of Boxing still and MMA"..he is not wrong right now.

Dana White has said he has offered both fighters $25 mil for each.

Floyd doesn't fight for $25 mil

Floyd needs a Bugatti Veyron before he gets out of bed to brush his teeth.

I've been reading comment around the web about this and a surprising number of idiots actually think Mcgregor can KO Mayweather.

MMA really does attract some absolute ******s.

Yep. Easiest payday mayweather could ever get. Plenty will pay thinking he will lose.

If a lot of people are thinking like that then I can't even blame floyd for fighting him

Lets be fair though - there is a whole lot of stupid in the boxing world as well - the newbies in the general forum at the moment being a handy example.
