160 pounds is far more prestigious than either 154 or 168. MW is probably the 2nd most coveted title in boxing historically besides HW.

Golovkin has conquered 160 pounds. And he hasn't let anybody successfully invade his fortress. Or had any close calls to be honest.

There is something to be said for completely dominating your own weight class for a long period of time. That's the essence of boxing. To destroy men you're own size.

His record looks similar to Deontay Wilders.
He only ever beat one Champion in his entire career. Beating Lemiux is like beating Charles Martin.

True, but did we really need another GGG thread right now?

Resume wise, that's true. But GGG can claim superiority over the rest at 160, wilder can not at this stage.

Lol.. You support garbage threads like this. No wonder this site has gone to the shids... Even the mods are encouraging trolling.

Hes dominated the division. I dont think anyone doubts that.

What makes 160 particularly prestigious though? Are you simply saying that because it happens to be an old division or do you think the current 160 generation is particularly strong?

No It's not. Beating Dominic Wade is like beating Charlles Martin.

Sorry to butt in. I personally do value the original class higher, maybe because of sense of history.

More like Joseph Parker, even though I rate Hassan N'Dam higher than Ruiz or Takam.
