Both were clear wins, but most of all the sport was robbed by the fact that not only did they lose, but in a fashion that does not draw or embodies the qualities that makes fighting special compared to other sports and games. If you spoil or run and slap it's sad enough that you get it when you do just enough. It's damn near enraging when they obviously don't. Even if you hate the respective fighters, but still have love for the sport and respect for all the work and sacrifice being put in.

Ward-Kovalev was a close fight separated by 4 punches on compubox. Degale was out landed by at least 50 and people are still complaining of a robbery for degale. Go figure.

What if a fighter gets knocked out. How many ways can that go?

That round 12 was close to a 10-7 imo... This was not like De La Hoya-Quartey where Oscar knocked him down and proceeded to get him on the ropes and unleash. Quartey was fighting back. Degale was clearly hurt and was on the verge of getting stopped. But valiant effort towards the end throwing back and showing the ref he was ok.

crazy to think that DeGale would've won the judges decision if he hadn't been knocked down in the 12th. I like James Degale and was rooting for him the entire fight but I think badou jack should've won. Especially since Jack scored the knock down in the 12th. Wasn't DeGale's last fight very close also? Maybe he's slipping a little bit.

It wasn't a robbery but I did score it 2 points for Jack. I don't know why people in this thread are stating like it was insane for the fight being a draw. It was a great and even fight that went back and forward.

If the fight is scored round by round, yeah, it was a close fight and the draw is fair or if there was no more than a point between the scoring then I would have been cool with it going ether way. What makes people give the fight to Jack is because the rounds that Jack won, he was beating the dog sh#t outta De Gale. Put it this way, If De Gale won six and Jack won six then the way Jack won his six should have given him the nod, but that's not boxing. Like I said, the boxing match was maybe a draw but the fight was won by Jack because Jack beat that ass.( When you get through talking )

I had DeGale up by a round but there were a few very close ones. I felt the draw was a good decision. Jack was robbed against Bute, but not here. Mayweather was a disgrace after the fight. Can we just keep the mic away from him? The guy will always just spout his agenda.

I agree with the Mayweather statement. He didn't need to come in there with that BS. Shows he is still a little weak at diplomacy.
