What do you think of Eddie Hearn telling the world he thought Degale lost?

I feel like its a snake move and he only did it because Degale hasn't been loyal to him, but he still promotes Degale so he should of big uped his boy. I can see how people could score it for Jack but Degale also had a strong case to winning and IMO the draw was probably the fairest outcome

He's tried to sell us some legit robberies as being wins in the past with other fighters so he definitely ain't a saint.

Will Degale ever get on the good side of Eddie because I see Eddie putting all his dough behind Callum Smith for the near future.

I heard Eddie Hearn was saying before the fight that Degale would barely lose a round. Playing both sides of the fence. Yeah he's a snake, but an entertaining one. He's so full of **** it's actually interesting to figure out the angle he's trying to work on these marks. I wouldn't mind meeting him to talk boxing.

Have you considered he may have actually thought Degale lost, and was just giving an honest opinion?

Eddie is definitely one of the more entertaining promoters and he talks a good game, his IFL interviews are hard case. I just don't like his fan boys I suppose.

I did have a laugh when Degale was calling for Eddie to get the mic and asking for the rematch and Eddie was pretty much like "yeah rematch we'll see"

eddie wouldn't give that opinon even if it was honest unless he wanted too

i feel he wanted to throw degal under the bus for he's past comments and disloyalty

something tells me haymon is going under, degale in a rush to start fighting back in the uk and degale in a hurry to get on hearns good side, not a good sign for haymon

He might have honestly thought that but in the past he has defended his fighters who clearly got robbery wins.

On the Monaco bill one of his midget world champion's got a whooping and he got a robbery win and Hearn tried to make out it was an easy win and he surely wouldn't have thought that at the time

No, for most people. An honest opinion doesn't exist

At least he's being honest, DeGale did lose. The fight and his teeth.

    Political move.

Hearn wants to work with Mayweather Promotions and this is a way to cosy up to them. Eddie is no fool.

Its actually funny because before the fight in an IFL TV interview Degale said that if he lost Eddie would want nothing to do with him an Kugan asked Eddie if that was true and Eddie replied "I won't be as interested in him"

What's Degale's relationship these days like with fish eyes?

He gives his honest opinion after every fight. Why would he say stuff like he thought Campbell lost to Mendy when you could easily have it for Campbell? He's not one of these snakey Yank promoters.

He bottled it in that ring. It was his job to fly the flag for his fighter and he shrank under the spotlight. The very least he could of done was claim that it was a close fight that could of gone either way and he like one judge had his guy winning.

He was quick enough to go off on the judge who rightly scored the Crolla fight heavily in favour of Linares. When he doesn't have his own little team around him he's got the courage of a mouse. He embarrassed himself yesterday IMO but should we really be that surprised that daddy's boy hasn't got anything about him in the bravery stakes?
